This is a very interesting result: no Bont, Macrae, Dunkley or Hunter in the best 5. Goes a long way to explaining why we were beaten.

Macrae went right off the boil toward the end of the season.
He polled 29 Ching votes over 18 games but 26 of them came in the first 11 rounds. He only polled 3 votes in the last 7 games. Any ideas why that happened?

It's also reflected in his raw votes (the aggregate of votes received from each BF poster who voted):
Rounds 1-11: 633 votes (avge 57.55)
Rounds 12-EF: 108 votes (avge 15.43)

I thought that he just looked a bit 'out of sorts' in the last part of the season. It could have been that he got a bit disgruntled with himself for not achieving his usual high standards. Can't think of any other reason.
Mystery minor injury? 'Hub depression'? Not sure.
