New award - “The Clay Smith”
Starting in Rd 2, we have added an optional voting award, as suggested by one of our posters. The “Clay Smith” Award is to recognise the most gutsy and courageous player. This is not for the player who goes in hard and flies the flag the most. This is for the player who does courageous acts and sacrifices their own game for the good of the team. This award could also be referred to as the Dale Morris as he is also a perfect example of the type of player this award is intending to showcase - he rarely did stupid things or was the first in to back up a mate but he was consistently recognise as a courageous player and well loved team mate - like Clay. You may vote for 1 player per week and it cumulates over the course of the year. Voting in this is optional.
