Soft hands, Partridge, soft hands. Docile (read dehydrated/aging) huntsmen can easily be relocated with a little patience and tender hands. If they're already aggressive -ie, rearing up- then I'll fetch the ol' mug and cardboard, or chase them back to the roof.
(Stripey freaking out will only discourage others from walking the enlightened path of the spider whisperers, Shell.)
Soft hands? Stripey, if you grew up in the eastern suburbs, as I did, you will know that hunstman-killing is one of the 3 great sports practised during one's cultural upbringing.
The others being retrieving tennis balls from pampas grass, and climbing roofs to collect miscreant footballs.

No I'm afraid when it comes to hunstmen it's like the African savannah - kill or be........well annoyed. Helps to impress the chicks too!
