Surely going to an over 28s is better than hanging out with a bunch of 16-21 year olds when you're late 30s-early 40s?

I remember going to a Foals gig a few years ago and I felt seriously old.

The majority of the crowd was so busy taking selfies and filming the gig I had to wonder if they'd lost the ability to "live in the moment".
Think I'd prefer your gig Pivotonian.
Was so humiliating being asked by men in their late 50s if I'd like to dance to really bad music from the 80's. even the BeeGees sounded tragic in that place.

So no silver fox types then?
I had to google silver fox-never heard it before, it's great! Sean Connery was the example given lol.
No, no silver foxes. I've got a guy in mind from some Aus comedy show, can't think of his name. He has a greased comb over and wears a sad old suit. That's more the type of guy that was there. :(

Uncle Arthur will do, he's also a good example.
May be funny now, but imagine dancing to 'night fever' with him.

So I drank, way too much, and I'm glad it's a short daylight savings day, because my head is sore. And in keeping with this thread, yes, I chucked!!

I'm having trouble with the concept of dancing to "Saturday Night Fever" let alone dancing to it with someone.

Thank you for giving me something more humiliating than my over 28s night (that I went to last night in the hope of hearing some old disco :$:rolleyes:) to watch today.
It's the best-worst show I've ever seen. Have been watching it all afternoon. Hooked!
it is the ultimate best-worst show...remember when it was on 11pm and the whole house was glued to the shitness.

you are the one looks similar and sucked me in on saturday.
