One of the last times i just got in my car (with my bro) we ran out of petrol. Some druggies picked us up and on the way to the petrol station they stopped to do a deal:eek:.
Lessen learnt make sure you have enough petrol.
Some weird stuff happens to you rocker, I love hearing about it. :)

I'm so scared of hitch hiking after hearing so many horror stories about it. I'd walk for 10k's rather than hitch lol!

Lol, it worked. Much better. :thumbsu:
Can't understand the joke or reason for changing n-o-r-f to that though. o_O
(Campaigner is a different story!)
Yeah the campaigner word is crap.
But the filter doesn't work. Because we all know what it means. They should make it a random 4 letter word.

I remember we had a big group of friends, and a few used that word.
One female really hated the use.

So, the boys got very disciplined and instead would use the word ocean like this "Oh what an ocean!"
She hated it because the actual word still went into her head as she rationalised the sentence.

Wonder how much money he has to be able to give away that much in one go? I'm glad people like him are loaded, he's great. :thumbsu:
I'm not sure what he's worth anymore. 80 billion was the last figure I can remember.
And he's giving all of it away.

His kids inheritance is only 10 million each.

Nice. That's a whopping amount.

Mark Zuckerberg (Mr. Facebook) gave 25 million to fight Ebola a little while back. These kimd of donations have got to make a difference.
His co founder (Gates) is Allen I think. Cant remember.
But he gave 100 million towards fighting Ebola. Which is more than our government has given.

How strong are they?
The pale ale is my favourite. Think it's a standard 5 or 5.5 %. Bloody beautiful in the 35 degree heat. :thumbsu:

Tom, there's a great wheat beer made by Lovina Beach Brewery in Indonesia. It's called Stark, truly worth seeking some out while you're over there.
Cheers for that. Will be my mission to find some today.:thumbsu:

Just amazing.
I didn't realise he was a family man with kids. Imagine getting $10 million. Double :eek:
He was questioned on it when he was here for 24 hours by some uni students.

Something like "It's been reported you will leave 10 million for each of your kids. Don't you think thats a lot?"
"Is it? I can honestly say I no longer understand what money is worth"

If you were one of his kids you'd be a bit dirty for only getting 10 million out of 80 billion.

Yeah. I don't know the details of it.
Maybe they still get some part of the microsoft earnings.

I'd be really, really dirty if that wasn't the case.
I am sure hes kids will have a great start to there lives even if they only get 10 mil plus any micosoft money.
Far to much greed in the world these days imho.
I can see your point not getting half and half but.

I don't know what the kids professions / education is.
But, 500 mil wouldn't be a dumb ask.

If he's instilled the same values in them that he has then that money will be put to good use.

Recall reading an article about the Gates' child raising philosophies. Two points that stood out were;

-wanting their kids to have a sense that their own work was important and meaningful
-adopting the "anti Paris Hilton" approach towards their kids and money

You just know he's the kind of guy to raise his kids with the "right" values and attitude. :thumbsu:
