She's going fine.
Getting very advanced now.

She's practicing about 15 different chords plus bar chords at the moment. Bar chords are a pain in the arse and she almost plays them effortlessly.
Got to hate kids.

She's about to start full on theory so she can do her first exam at the end of the year.
But she has 3 weeks off now due to school holidays.

She's actually looking forward to the break to freshen up mentally.
 
I can't help it! I am a carnivore! I adore meat + as an O+ blood group member, we are meat eaters! I mean I love babies, but I couldn't eat a whole one ;) Couldn't eat pussy cat, bunny rabbit or puppy dog either, but everyone + everything else is on the menu! Maybe Hannibal is the man for me? His dining room is superb! The decoration of wallpaper + planters, opposite the fireplace, above which hangs Boucher's 'Leda + the Swan' balances the strong design aspects of the table + dining chairs. The black Murano glass chandelier reflects Hannibal's perverse nature. Speaking of Boucher's painting, 'Leda + the Swan', its whereabouts is unknown! The mystery deepens.

Well I got an interview for that role.
Now I go through the crazy recruitment process. I don't really see the point in having an interview with someone that would have no technical knowledge of the role.

First time I have done it though. Every other interview has been direct with the employer. Will be interesting to see how they go about it.

When did that post? Last night? I was going to put it up and ask you where it was that we discussed those ugly dogs. Was it in the pet thread with James? or someone else?
I got that pic (amongst many others of ugly dogs!) last night when I was waiting in my car at the pool. The stupid screen froze when I was trying to type my query to you and I had to turn the phone on and off. Thought I'd lost it :confused: Then I didn't get the chance to post it because my daughter came out of the pool and we went home for dinner.

I've just realised that I missed a lot of the posts from this morning too- coffeelover was on (talking about the cameras) and catgal and Big Tom (saw the one about the fireplace) but I've only just noticed a handful of posts that I'd missed. Weird!! I saw some about catgal going to the airport then think your Hannibal and the ones near that were the next lot that I saw..... but the ones above it just turned up now when you replied to my post but weren't there earlier this morning!!! wtf?? I am SURE they weren't there earlier!!!! And I would blame my phone here but I was on the computer! huh???

I'll have to check a Coonara. The guy who renovated my house removed all the chimney flues, such a crime :( My house is small + gets a lot of sun so I don't need to use much heating. I only used the heater twice last winter. At Mum's where I'm staying now, it is a bigger house with lots of windows + glass doors so it is much colder. I'd love to get one of those fake fires for my house, just seeing the flame makes you feel cosy.

Hmm- I know what happened and why I missed the morning posts- I was walking my dog and ran into a friend so stopped looking at BF on the phone.
But that still doesn't explain why I didn't see the posts on the top of this page. I get so frustrated with BF on the phone- I don't have the ad blockers so, after the page loads, I start to click on what thread I want and then the ads drop the page down and I hit the wrong thread. Just too impatient I guess. (Have I told you this before? I think I was complaining about it not long ago!)
I've found some very interesting things that way, though- clicking on threads that I normally wouldn't read. But mostly it's just ads that I accidentally click on when I am trying to scroll down. So much for having 'soft' fingers ;) lol

Where would be your favourite restaurant/place to have a meal?
I've always wanted to go to Peter Gilmore's Quay restaurant on Sydney Harbour after seeing some of his recipes on Masterchef. Yuuuuuum:thumbsu:

It's a great plan, and would be good payback by Tom, as I believe catgal found :hearts: for him, now it's her turn! (so glad it's our little secret ;))

maybe you can keep a look out in your area, too, kcf, then arrange to bring any prospective types to a GFC meet up at one of the games ;) You can pretend he's your bloke and that should trick catgal ;)

I got my last job through a recruitment agency VC. It was such a stupid process, as you say, because they were clueless to what the specifics of the job were, and it was so hard to know what they were looking for.

Ah, very good thinking. There's some hot guys round here, that's for sure.
Thing is, I think catgal won't care too much about looks. I'll do my best to find her a caring, environmentalist, vegetarian who hopes for world peace. Oh, he has to like random music and movies too. I may head up to Byron Bay to see what's around there (don't kill us catgal ;):D)
