Oh dear, I need to broaden my taste buds catgal! Only ever thought of hummus as a dip, and the texture of avocado on its own is a bit slimy-on toast sounds way nicer. Thanks :thumbsu:

Anyone else have a toast topper?
Lucky I didn't mention scrambled tofu then Karen ;), but it is just so good on toast, or by itself.

Avacados are cheap this week - half-price!

But broccoli at $7.95 a kilo - excuse me?
I've been making the most of cheap avocados with some Mexican dishes-so good :thumbsu:.

Thought broccoli was a winter vegetable, so was stunned with the price. Bought the tiniest little head of it (like smaller than a tennis ball) for $4. I have spinach and silver beet growing like weeds in my garden atm, so will eat those instead.

Lol, not game to try tofu on toast

Love your vegie garden idea though, must be so much fresher and healthier :thumbsu:
Nothing beats vegies straight from the garden. I have a bit of everything growing, well did have when I left home, chooks might have seen to that by now.

As for toast, I quite like baked beans or tomato with a bit of salt.

To change the subject from rugby lol, I'm wondering if anyone has some decent toast topping suggestions.
I'm getting a bit sick of peanut butter or Vegemite!!!
My daughter likes vegemite with sliced tomato.
My son is all over peanut butter with nutella.

Just read through the toast link, thanks Pivotonian. There's a thread for everything on BF it seems-even stumbled across a Lego thread with a nice construction by you catgal-you must be a patient woman

oh jacquie lambie, you gotta love her:

Then Kim asked Lambie about her bikini line and it was full steam ahead on the Oversharing Express.

"Right now the state I'm in, you'd want to bring out that whipper snipper first," replied Lambie. "It's a very scary area to talk about this morning."

It's the stuff one could only dream of: an Apple Isle senator waxing lyrical about her map of Tasmania on live radio.

Suddenly, the Prime Minister winking at a radio talkback call from a sex line worker seemed utterly banal.

And then it got better.

Lambie – a mother-of-two who says she has been single for 11 years – outlined what she's looking for in a man.

"They must have heaps of cash and they've got to have a package between their legs," she said.

"They don't even need to speak."

The outlander series, you bet! Really like Diana Gabaldon, and no, it's not just a love story, this author has the ability to make you laugh & cry, pretty noteworthy.. :)
Very late to the party but this has been turned into a TV show which starts on Foxtel next month.

Looking forward to seeing what they do with it, Game of Thrones is my 2nd fav series & they're generally doing quite well in visual form but if you didn't read the books you miss so much.. :)

My mother always complains about any time she has to call the ATO or centrelink, I haven't rang centrelink for quite some time but was just on the phone with the ATO and it was a breeze... Don't know what she is complaining about tbh o_O
