Ernie Sigley just said on 3AW he has heard Chocco has been appointed.

I'm listening to the FOX and I really don't want to change station.
I guess if this is true we'll find out more as the day progresses.

Well, they would, wouldn't they? Looks like there may have been a nudge or wink toward a reporter. Apparently the decision is made today, with the announcement on Monday.

This is one appointment I would like the club to get out of the way. It is a shame that they did not appear to interview O'Donnell

Bulldogs deny report

Contrary to a report on radio this afternoon, the Western Bulldogs have not made a final decision regarding the appointment of a senior coach for the 2003 season.

As you are all well aware, the selection process to appoint the Western Bulldogs new senior coach has been underway
for several weeks and is still continuing.


Although a decision regarding this appointment is imminent, no final decision has been made.

At the appropriate time and when a final decision has been made, all media will be advised of an announcement regarding
the appointment of the new Western Bulldogs senior coach.

Until this time, any speculation in the media or from any other source can only be described as false.
