He left port in a shit heap and gws started improving the moment he was ****ed off.
Never advacated his inclusion at the club and never changed my opinion.
Thought he was above getting the arse at Port and has undermined at both clubs he has been at afterwards, trying to get the top gig.

Never once heard he wanted the top job with us. I call bs bc he was fighting a cancer scare and never had the time health and energy to commit fully to the job.

I honestly couldn't give a stuff about 2016. It's done, finished and gone. Bit like Chocco, bit like Lids, bit like everything else to do with it. Looking forward to 2017.... we could win fewer games playing a better style and I'd be happy. 2016 was as crap a year as any I can remember. Worse than 2009 and just worse than 2002 in terms of under-delivering on promise.

But you see, that's not how it generally works on here TigerTime.
Only a select few Richmond people and select few Tiger supporters are apparently allowed to comment on our club .... and it inevitably has to be glowing in its reference (which this largely is) or at least have a positive spin.
Then of course there is a growing line of poster who don't actually digest, or read, the comments before firing off a retort.
To many, Chocco became the enemy once he was tossed out the door, so even his positive comments such as these are debated, ridicules, disregarded.
Just add him to the basket with the likes of Mark Robinson, Plough Wallace, Frawley, Damien Barrett, Mark Stevens, Matthew Lloyd and two dozen others who can never be right in their opinion when it comes to us.
A good AFL source once told me that the Tigers will never get any better until they start actually taking on board the thoughts of outsiders ad stop looking ot their own.
And sadly the outsiders have the perfect ally when it comes to criticising Richmond - the AFL ladder and a woeful finals record.

I agree entirely mate and believe me I'm no Chocco fan as I was critical when we got him bc he was basically a punch struck boxer.
What I thought was wrong was partially blaming him for our 2016 issues and bringing up dirt with no evidence just to slander him.
I'm moving on bc basically it's 2017 and we get to put the correct pads on (I hope) again.

For years this has been my major beef with Dimma. He has always held out that process was more important than motivation. He says "You have a job - do it this way each week." Great plan for robots.

I took it that Chocco knew there were ebbs and flows in players, and it is the coaches job to sense and/or read these - and coach accordingly.

Dimma hasn't had the same quality of skilled personnel he once had as an assistant at Hawthorn, so reading the player bio-rhythms becomes an even more important coaching tool, and as a consequence so is verbal and physical motivation.

Dimma has got the cart before the horse - his teams are not yet good enough in terms of skilled personnel to coach the process style that was so successful at Hawthorn

Maybe, but begs the question, how did the blokes making the decisions down at our club ... Peggy, Benny and Damien ,,,, come to hire such an undermining and apparently 'past his expiry date' has been as Choco???
Should never been let in the joint if he was that poor, yet NONE OF US are allowed to question those three people's decisions because they are all doing such a brilliant job.
