Weird story form the 'interview'. just cherry picked bits. Still interesting that he reckons the players have responded to less overcoaching, and that the new coaching team is in response to a genuine problem. Conca needs to get a bit tougher - hope he does.

It would heva been better if it was presented as the interview, not bits and pieces.

I'm not suggesting Williams did not cause issues - it's been made clear that he did, but I do take exception to the 'rewriting' of history here at Tigerland. Williams was nothing but a profound and prodigious influence on one D. Martin (and the dclub went to great lengths to talk it up and promote the fact). Yet we are rewriting history with crap about Dusty won't leave because of Hardwick who has been the doyen of influences.
It's a very valid point ... if Choco was this way at Port and GWS .. why was he within 10 kilometres of Punt Road? No due diligence? What, we were going to change him?
Amazing how a good percentage of Tigers supporters simply can't handle any constructive criticism. We always have all the answers ourselves.

I cant answer for the due dilligence, but yes, with everything that's come out about him being disruptive then IMO we didn't as we were desperate for 'quality' assistants and said yes the moment he came knocking or we found he was available.

I dont dispute he was a big influence, IIRC he was one of the people dusty mentioned in his ill-advised GWS interview. On the dusty not leaving because hardwick, i feel like some people lose track of the origins of that argument which IIRC was focused around the fact that Hardwick is the last positive influence of his early days left - Chocco is gone and Garry March is no longer at the club.

These are trivial incidents with no concrete evidence. As you said alleged and don't get me started on favourites as most coaches have them.

He said that Reece Mckenzie shocked everyone at the club with his talent at training. Beating Rance in one on ones in the goalsquare, his speed and agility etc
but said due to his issues with depression he didn't make it. He then wished Reece all the best at the local club he's now playing for.

This. As soon as the guy leaves punt road, he becomes the enemy of the RFC. Case in point Choco & ...even lids....

Allegedly chocco got up a vfl player for not putting in and Rance god bless him got upset with it, its was so far removed from the ball cupping the players usually get.

My concern was what was Rance doing getting involved in a coaching issue at vfl level.

You know coaches are coaches players are players.

Rubbish the common denominator was DH and his game plan. Chocco was his assistant so DH had the last say. Still haven't seen any evidence that backs your claims about his wood worming. FWiW the article had some positive points in it with acknowledgement of the moving on with the old coaching methods.
