The decision will have to be made soon.....or he may not have anywhere to go.

That would be a shame!

It might not be true. I was just repeating what was said on the Power board. Look it up since I'm not allowed to link to it.

Why would B 13 Power supporters go onto the Port Board, there is too much harsh reality over there for some of them to face. Thats why D one comes to B 13 and sprouts off with comments like "sign Choco now" and "Thurstans and Carlile are better than Mcleod etc" where everyone else thinks the complete opposite. D one would not even know where the Port board is let alone having the footy knowledge to actually post something menaingful. The more he/she posts the lower his/her credibility plummits.

You have a mid table specialist. Unwilling to take a risk? You mean like playing Burgoyne? Pettigrew? Chaplin? Pearce? Carr? Lade?and refusing to play some kids, that's a true risk.

Craig has changed his game style mid season to universal surprise in the football world. It's almost unheard of to a) do it and b) execute it. At this point he is being lauded for identifying a problem and trying to fix it.

:D Please you should be a comedian.
The camries are reverting back to their 14 man defense (from 2005) & are moving the ball on a bit quicker to their 2 forwards in Tippet (who as the days go by wants to return to Queensland as his girlfriend wants to go home) & Porplyzia... nothing out of the ordinary has changed about the way they play although they now use a 12-18 man defensive zone on occasions as well.

Whatever it is that the Crows are now doing, it is working.

Whatever it is that the Power are now doing, it is failing. Failure is something the Power are very good at.

Power supporters such as yourself keep threatening us with premature predictions of glory that never eventuate. In the meantime, the Crows just quietly go about their business in building their list towards success while measuring their progress according to their on-field performance that has not been tainted by coaches deciding to give up in the middle of the season.

The Camry Crows have played 7 games at Football Park and have 7 wins, Port have played 6 games at Football Park and have 6 wins. Both teams are on par.

Neither will win the premiership.

We know we wont win the premiership this year, and we dont expect to.

But, what we do know is that Port are on a massive downslide, whilst the Crows are on the upslide.

Not this year. But would rather be in the Crows position than Powa's.

No...not on par...win/loss maybe similar but the way each team has lost is poles apart.

People were saying the same when Geelong were 2 and 3 in 2007, they were also saying that when the Camry Crows were 3 and 5 in 2009. :):thumbsu:

Yes … on par … remember you lost to us and the final scoreline flattered you … and you will probably have to beat us to make the finals.

As I have said all along … our best is better than your best and our worst is worse than you worst.

Chipscab is on the slide … Goodwin and Edwards are still doing OK but their slide could start at anytime now. Things can turn sour for you at anytime.

Then where is your best? When you get done, you get smashed, and this is especialy true since 119. Players carrying bricks around is not going to save your season.
You still seem convinced that Powa have a better list. Well, great, lets see them in action instead of recycling players.

Yeah, sure Crows could crumble at any time...in fact it will be interesting to see if these young lads can play out a whole season. Choco has blind faith in his list...good thing/bad thing I don't know.

I don't prescribe to the fact that we will have to beat you to make the finals......there are 10 games to go and the showdown is just one of them... :)

Who cares what was said 2 years ago. Right now is when it matters.

See, thing is, Port dont havs a "best" at the moment. And if they did, you would be a mile behind the Crows at the moment.

Port's full list Vs The Camry Crows full list.

Code:
2009 Round 6

Port Adelaide	3-4	8-6	11-12	15-15	105
Camry Crows	2-0	5-2	8-5	12-7	79

You have to win 6 of your last 10.

Games you should win
Richmond @ Gold Coast Stadium
Fremantle @ Football Park
West Coast @ Football Park

Games you’ll probably lose
St Kilda @ Docklands
Geelong @ Kardinia Park

50/50 Games
Sydney @ Football Park
Collingwood @ Football Park
Carlton @ Docklands
Hawthorn @ M.C.G.
Port Adelaide@ Football Park

If you win the first three you’ll have to win 3 of the 50/50s. I wouldn’t put money on the Carlton or Hawthorn games … which means that the showdown could be it

do you ever? Continually making finals but failing to even make a GF in the past 7 years, and counting :thumbsu:

Yes, we've won 2 premierships. That's more premierships than you've won. And do I really need to remind you of what happened the last time you made a GF? You talk about it as if it was such a great achievement that you broke the world-record for biggest ever loss in a GF on that day.

similar to you choosing to selectively refer only to Tredrea's past 4 games, please refer back to my post where I have chosen to refer to your club's past 7 years without a GF appearance, and the apparant acceptance that you won't make it again this year, and tingles fans are happy with this.

See, I probably would put money on the Carlton and Hawks game, but not the showdown.
Either way, this year will be much like last year, maybe scrape into the 8 and maybe jag one final. The Crows list and the young ones that have performed this year will have to consolidate their position next year. Til then, I like what I see.
If you get another coach , I would not be surprised to see a big clean out, similar to what Blight did.

No....no-one was happy with 05/06 ...., same as 02/03 would have been a nightmare for you. Not especially rapt in 07 or 08 either.
But the here and now of it......pleased as punch , baby!:)

We are not happy that we probably won't win a premiership (although to be a chance to win a premiership you at least have to play finals, something which your team doesn't seem have any desire in doing).

What we are happy about is the direction the club is heading which we believe is the right direction. Our youngsters appear to be developing very nicely and that includes those who are already in our best 22 as well as those who are working hard and developing their game in the SANFL.

To put it into perspective, we field a younger side than the Power each week and so far this season, with a tougher draw, have been able to notch more wins than you. But to be fair, I guess, the Power have had more injuries than us.

You fielded an older side than North and we fielded a younger side than Western Bulldogs.

You are only one year younger than us … which was evident when we played you in round 6.

BTW you are only 9 months younger than Geelong.

Who are you and what have you done with Sekaj

;)

fwiw, I believe we certainly do have a desire to play finals

Your season looks on track to make it this year, and ours is shaky, but you know what they say about chickens

And here was I thinking you'd put the stats away.

I would rather have two more years out of Tyson Edwards, than 5 out of Chaplin!

Maybe you could of started that reply with "Oh, you are correct, we are not as young as I thought we were"

Well done Miss Narky.

So Port have a bucnh of 19 year old hacks on their list which would lower your stats significnatly.

What is the average age of Ports 22 players who have played the most games for them this year compared to Adelaide. I could not be bothered running those number myself but I am sure it would prove that our best 22 this year is younger than Ports. Its a more meaningful comparison than compared to a comparison including players that may well sit on your list but never play a game.

Plus the fact that the Crows have 2 30+ 300 gamers effects our average also. Your stats are meningless and you know it.

Of course I don't expect you to do this as it would torpedo your theory.

That is the average age of the 22 Port and the Camry Crows fielded on the weekend.

Both teams had 10 players aged 20 to 25 and both had 7 players aged 25 to 30.

The Camry Crows had 2 players over 30 while we had 4.

The Camry Crows had 3 players under 20 while we had 1.

If you stick Boak, Hartlett, Sburger and Carlile in that team and Carr and Toby out, then we are as young as you.

BTW if Myers is ever having a credibility sale buy up big, you need it.

And you would still get smashed by 90 odd points.

Your point is.....?
BTW ...It's Mrs Narky...
