And yet some crows posters on here, keep on saying that Port supporters are living in the past.
CHoco is a dead man walking. Port are the worse 6-6 team in history.
So you're telling me that it's impossible to be 6-6 and win the premiership?

It is when you struggle to beat two teams in bottom four.
Honestly, how would Kane Cornes even know? I think I have the best brother in the world, but as he's the only one I have ever had ?????
And then there are players who have left because of Williams. Certainly, Williams going will increase their crowd numbers.
So you're telling me that it's impossible to be 6-6 and win the premiership?
OF course it is not, but most of us do not just look at stats on page to make a conclusion (like you do), we look in depth behind the numbers (as I hope your Board will be when deciding Choco's future next week). That analysis says Port are going backwards in a big way, your recent fomr supports this. Venture over to the Port board (if you know where it is) and see how many of your fellow supporters think Port can win the flag this year.

Kane cornes wouldn't not know, he has only ever had 1 AFL coach, plus he is a holder of the coveted Choco gold pass.
If Choco is the best coach in the AFL whay have 3 of the last 4 years ended in bottom 8 failure (yes I am assuming 2009 will too), how bad is the playing list then?
Blight could motivate his players.
Choco proved, and admitted, in 2008 he could not.
1999 Round 20
Sydney 6-2 12-4 19-7 25-9 159
Camry Crows 2-0 3-6 3-6 5-11 41
Blight could motivate his players.

Blight couldn't get the players up in 99 though...
In 2008 we lost 7 games by less than 2 goals... with a bit of luck who knows what might have happened. I think we lost something like 10 games by under 4 goals.. if according to you the players weren't motivated in 2008, then how would they would have played if they had been motivated?
And Williams revealed his players are struggling for motivation to win games with finals now out of the question.
According to Choco too...

I gues after two flags he was content, as were the players.
Bit like Port since 2004.

Port used its quota of luck well an truly in 2007.
The GF appearance was the worst thing that could happen (in hidsight) for 2 reasons:
1 The mental and emotional scarring from the 119 point thrashing that haunts the club to this day and will do so for generations.
2 The GF appearance masked some major holes in Ports list
and gave a faase guage on where Port actually were in terms of playing personal and the direction the club should take. The reality is just starting to hit now. Its a bit like the Global Finanical Crisis. At present Port are in Mid 2007 when the sub prime problems started to show, it wasn't until 12 months later and Lehmans went uder that the full extent of the problems were realised and all hell broke lose. In terms of Port Power, their Lehman's collapse is yet to happen.
Dew claims he lost the passion...
he only went to hawthorn because of his close relationship with big al
& he has a better chance of working in the media when he retires if he lives in Victoria
Thomson wanted more opportunities at afl level.
Choco wanted him to stay but he left Port for more opportunities & has said on a number of occasions that he would be welcomed back to port with open arms.
Willits is a key position player and was on our list for a few years and didnt progress enough to retain a spot. Interestingly enough a few westies supporters have said that he's finally starting to show something.
And the Camry Crows used a century’s quota of luck with their 97 and 98 Bradbury premierships.
You haven’t won an away final since 2002; you’ve lost your last three finals, and three of your last five finals at Football Park. What sort of emotional scars are you gonna take into your next final?
Your constant finals appearance mask major problems in your club’s psyche.
Oh thank you for sharing the benefit of your wisdom with us, Oh Enlightened One. But what has deregulation and securitisation of the US home loan market got to do with the AFL. I could also do an equally stupid analogy of Port Adelaide with Fortescue Metals Group and the Camry Crows with BHP Billiton. But that analogy would be as relevant as yours.
BTW my expectations of you have hit rock bottom. Would you like a jackhammer?
Ports worst times are ahead, are you saying Port are over the worst of it. The shyte is only starting to his the fan. Wait a couple of weeks when the board decides Choco's fate.
If they decide to keep him, the supporter base (especially the BF port board will go into meltdown, memberships will be torn up and you will have even more supporters refusing to go to games until Choco is gone. Certain factions in the player group will become even more distant from other factions.
If the board decide to get rid of Choco, it will be a circus, Choco will probably leave mid season which will mean some hack like Adam Kingsley will coach the power for the rest of the year while they chase a cheaper version of Choco. The results will be mixed and another bottom 4 finish will come. Certain factions in the player group will become even more distant from other factions.
Good times ahead D one.
I absolutely cannot wait to see that rabble implode. I just CANNOT WAIT!!!![]()

Dunno, is rape is still part of your gameplan![]()
2009 Round 6
Port Adelaide 3-4 8-6 11-12 15-15 105
Camry Crows 2-0 5-2 8-5 12-7 79
mmmm…. I’ve had a look and there are no currently listed AFL players with rape convictions or facing rape charges. There is, however, one player currently facing charges of assaulting his girlfriend. Are you sure you wanna go down this line, dipstick?
We did however rape the credibility of the Camry Crows on this day:
Code:2009 Round 6 Port Adelaide 3-4 8-6 11-12 15-15 105 Camry Crows 2-0 5-2 8-5 12-7 79
Not bad for a shit club about to self-destruct.
