You struggled to beat Richmond and Freo at home. We have them in next two weeks one away the other at home. But beat Freo over there.

Both clubs lost to the Saints. We were in it till the last quarter when their class rose above us. Port didnt even show up.

We beat the Swans over here. Lost the first half but stayed within striking distance and over ran them. With Macca kicking a game breaking goal. Swans smashed Port over there, with Thurstans playing for Sturt.

Your last loss against Geelong was made to look good by them not playing the last quarter. We were smashed by them over here but they never took the pedal off as they know we dont drop our heads. They could ease off against the Power as they knew the first quarter was enough to smash the weak minded Powder Puffs.

If Melbourne had a forward they could of been a few goals up at quarter time (at home) as they doubled your inside 50s (Chocos favourite stat). We beat them in a dirty dour match at the G.

Hawthorn surrended to you, but it was one of the best wins in a few years according to Choco. We easily accounted for them.

You beat Essendon in round one, at home, a lucky win given the skill errors they had when had momentum. We beat them at Docklands in a game many neutrals hail as one of the best of the season, also the most accurate scorewise in A(V)FL history.

You beat us. Some junk time goals made the score look better but we were poor. Since then we have gone up the ladder. You have dropped. We learnt from that loss and have made some changed. Port won a Showdown and patted themselves on the back, and congratulated themselves on being a "top four side". Port have never made the finals after beating us since Craigy has taken over. This will continue.

Yeah both clubs are even:rolleyes:...........

This is why the crows should be just behind geelong as premiership favorites.
Only when Geelong got into second gear & piled on the goals at will earlier this year is when the camries have looked poor...
They have matched it with saints & dogs & beaten the other contender Collingwood....

The crows (not carlton) are coming will be the battle cry from the 19th man.

"Subapu" ...good one...have you been to the D_One school of thinking up stupid infantile names, or are you actually 8?

Speaking of infantile - it's Power, not Powa, or are you actually 8 ;)

I work with the public, and all day Monday Port supportes were wondering what was going on. All day Tuesday, they were pissed off with how it had been handled. These are your average people, some of who now refuse to and have not been to your games because of the coach. I do not base what I hear from Port supporters solely on a mutual admiration society like the Port board.

I know a number of Port supporters, including quite a few at my work, and it's barely rated a mention. Supporters of other clubs didn't even comment on it when we were discussing the official announcement not being far away yesterday morning. From my reading of another Port site, not many were critical. The Port board is far from a mutual admiration society - there's clear debate about selection, about the coach and his appointment etc.

In the end it's a minority opinion. If the people you are talking to aren't even going to games then I question their value as supporters, let alone the value of their opinion.

This week is the first I have heard that Williams had a five year plan. Very convenient.

Williams mentioned being ahead of plan a number of times during 2007. Didn't expect to finish as high as we did, didn't expect to make a GF - not that year anyway.

Best and most accurate post for the week. Well done Geoffa! D one has not seen enough or know enough about AFL to respond in the same manner.

He simply looks at the positive aspects of the Camry Crows season and the negatives of Port’s season. But you require a modicum of analytical ability to realise this. Something you do not possess.

You beat Collingwood in round one, a lucky win given the fact that they had not yet tweaked their team. A bit like when you beat them in Dubai in pre-season 2008 only to get pants later that year in a home final.

You played the most boring game of the year when you refused to take on Melbourne, as opposed to us being 6 goals up at half time and then kicking 12 goals in second half. You kick 7 goals against Melbourne and we kicked 7 goals in the second quarter.

We lost to North when they kicked 20-5 at the Dome. You played them in the wet at home.

We both beat Hawthorn by similar amounts. We beat them at the MCG you at Football Park.

The WBDogs kicked 8-5 to 1-3 in the third. The Dogs had four good quarters against us. None as good as their third quarter against you.

Jarad McVeigh had a day out against us. Jarad McVeigh had a day off against you.

We instigated the attacking football against Essendon. You reacted to Essendon’s attacking game plan.

You should be 10-5 after round 15. Then you have St Kilda (Docklands), Port, Geelong (Kardinia Park), Collingwood (Home), Hawthorn (MCG), West Coast (Home) and Carlton (Docklands)

Good luck.

Nah bottom half of 8 for us. Our results show we cant beat the top four sides. It is just an assesment as to how both teams have encounted the clubs we have each played. Ladder position is also a fair indicator of how "even" we are.

Good luck with Brisbane this week. I should be there in the 16k strong crowd.

Actually the Camry Crows should be favourite ahead of Geelong.

Using Geoffa logic, the Camry Crows easily beat Freo at Subi. Geelong struggled to only just over come them for the second year in a row.

Geelong only just beat Hawthorn by 8 points. The Camry Crows smashed the Hawks to smithereens.

The Camry Crows held Melbourne to only 4 goals. Geelong allowed Melbourne to slot 10 goals.

Geelong only managed 20 goals against Essendon. The Camry Crows got 21.

The Camry Crows are easily having a better season than Geelong.

Mick Malthouse not paying respect to Mcleod also helped. A mistake no coach has done since.

Take the four points and run. May not be a spectacle, but we are not the "entertain me". We play football.

We lost to North when they kicked 20-5 at the Dome. You played them in the wet at home.

And beat them quite well. The better players rise to the top in the wet. Much like the 2005 Showdown in the wet.

We both beat Hawthorn by similar amounts. We beat them at the MCG you at Football Park.

The WBDogs kicked 8-5 to 1-3 in the third. The Dogs had four good quarters against us. None as good as their third quarter against you.

Port let the Bulldogs do what they want. Great advertisement for the NT push. We held them for a half and laxed in the third quarter.

Jarad McVeigh had a day out against us. Jarad McVeigh had a day off against you.

We instigated the attacking football against Essendon. You reacted to Essendon’s attacking game plan.

Having Tippett at the pointy end helped. The year before it was Gill.

You should be 10-5 after round 15. Then you have St Kilda (Docklands), Port, Geelong (Kardinia Park), Collingwood (Home), Hawthorn (MCG), West Coast (Home) and Carlton (Docklands)

All winnable bar the Geelong and Saints games. Not easy and hardly a "Cornes Brother" Dream Draw but winnable.

Good luck.

Why change the subject? This is about Tippet and Westhoff.

Pettigrew says hi as well.:)

Actually i think Pettigrew isn't anywhere near as bad as what a few of our supporters think... he's an easy target though because he;s not the complete footballer, but i also think that he's being played in the wrong position...

You dont watch a lot of football do you......

Nope, my football knowledge is based on mostly guesswork as i usually head straight to the bar & proceed to drink non stop for 2 hours.

I was 8 ...a while ago now though, petal.

The supporters I am talking about are the ones that have had enough. It seems from my friends that Choco is the overriding factor. These are supporters that have had Cat 1 tickets from the get go, and who I would have thought would always be there at games regardless., such is their discontent. It will be interesting to see your crowd numbers over the next month.

What position do you call "spending more time lying flat on the ground than standing up"? Every time I look at him he is either falling down or getting up. Or is it a coincidence?;)

well likewise . Everything needs to be spelt out to you doesn't it. You keep referring to Port as 'Powa' and I assume I have to drag myself down to your level. I do it, and you don't get the inference because it's far too subtle for you

IDGAF about supporters such as these who think the best 'response' if they don't like something at the club is to leave it. The club is bigger than the individual supporter, bigger than the current board, or playing list or coach et al. We'll all be dead and the club will still be there.

Maybe if they'd stayed on, the club wouldn't be where it is now - they're part of perpetuating the problem, so they can **** off for all I care. They've given up their right to have a say the day they're no longer members.

Tell them that from me, will you

Luv, I said pet, I got it...I just chose to ignore it.:)
As for your feelings towards bailing supporters...it's nothing I haven't already said to them. Typical bandwaggoners! But I'll pass on your thoughts...I'm sure they will be thrilled.

Ha...just saw what you were on about there, Geoffa. Good point made on the Port (just for you PK) Board that the fans will start putting in when the players do.:)

Geez these Cornes boys have got as big a mouths as their Dad!

lol - my post was before I read that article. Doesn't matter what we/the club says you lot will find fault. I can't argue that some of the players haven't put in some of the time - it's a valid point, BUT 'jumping off' as in not showing up and/or chucking in memberships is not the way to send a message. That's my opinion, and as I'm sure you already know from regularly reading our board, I'm not alone there, and am not afraid of being critical if imo it's warranted. Everyone's entitled to an opinion and we all know Chad's never short of one.

Yeah, I agree completely. The more Power supporters who **** off, the better because I love seeing them die a slow and painful death with more and more Power supporters ****ing off and not attending games, particularly because they're disgusted with the board for reappointing Choco. Good call PowerKat.

The thing is, let's say our clubs decided to do a direct swap. Tippett for Westhoff. The results of the poll would still be in Tippett's favour.

The funniest thing about that poll is that only the notoriously deluded Power supporters on Bay 13 have voted for Westhoff. No other sane person on this planet would even contemplate voting for Justin Westdork (yes I know, namecalling is puerile but I couldn't resist).

Credit to gopower, he took the Teal coloured glasses off.

Oh and D_One there is a reason I made it public.

See if you knew anything about stats you would know there is bias in some surveys. By making it public we can take out Crows and Power supporters.

Hoff 2 Votes 18.18%
Tip 9 Votes 81.18%

So taking out the bias the % of people who would take Tip over Hoff does not deviate much from the raw data. I could add gopower as he ignored his bias. Which makes it Tip 83.33% to Hoff 16.66%.........

Making it public is good. It may expose a few more Camry Crows aliases.
