Hey, believe what you want. There is a reason why he couldn't get a game in the wooden spoon side. Him being a great kick has caused him to be overrated, other than that, he's pretty ordinary. Fact is, the guy couldn't even get a game in the wooden spoon side, with our rucks being French, Mclaren and Deluca:eek: .

To be honest, seems to me that the Pies supporters are happy with Bryan, and Carlton supporters happy with Cloke (who is supposedly giving it his all on the track, same couldn't be said of Bryan during his time at Carlton). We'll see who fares better at their new clubs in 2007 and beyond.

On the contrary.....

Thank you to Collingwood for taking this lazy,undisciplined,ordinary at best footballer off our hands....

The unfortunate thing about this is we had the injustice of recieving a Cloke in return.....

Bryan will play about 23 1/2 miutes of good football for you lot in 2007,which is about 23 minutes more than he did for us in his time at the blues.....

We can oly be encouraged by the fact that carlton has not got rid of a good footballer for a long time,every player that we have offloaded in the last four or five years has gone on to their new club and done absolutely nothing.....difference is that usually essendon picks up our hacks....lol

Good luck with him,but i can't imagine him providing you with any real highlights,and chances are you wil be looking to dump him in a year or two.....

The reason why you havent off loaded a good footballer in 5 years, is because you havent had a good footballer for the last 6 years..

Your club has no money, no respect & are just basket cases..

I refuse to argue over the relative merits of the last two blokes recruited on an AFL list.

If either one makes it, it will be good fortune for the respective club.

If your club can repeat the best form you are capable of over the last four or five years.......

You might just lose another grand Final this year.....
 
The Chris Bryan - Cameron Cloke is a nothing trade for both clubs, I don't think either player will make a big impact at their new club. In saying that, Bryan and Cloke could become serviceable players. Ultimately, the buck stops here!

I went to watch the boys train on Friday, and I noticed that Bryan doesn't do much. He could be injured, but he may have an attitude problem, for all I know. We'll see if he buckles down over the next few weeks.

Isn't this exactly what we have been telling you all along?

Chris Bryan is a very lazy footballer, who does as little as he can in training. That's why he won't make it.

Talent can only get you so far...

Chris Bryan is recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his knee - I'm sure we'll get a better idea of how he's training in a few weeks when he's right to train at full capacity.

Let's hope, for your sake, that his training methods have improved since he left the Blues.

I wouldn't be holding my breath, though-that's for sure.

We've heard what you have to say but we'll wait and see for ourselves. He's the last bloke picked on our list and wont play a game if Richards stays fit. At least he's at a club where the AFL coach and the VFL coach are on speaking terms, thats got to be a masssive boost for a start.

You have replaced Bryan with a player who Dennis Pagan has already publicly stated he did not want to recruit.

You're a rabble.

I spoke to Chris at the family day. He had an elastic knee bandage over his knee. Seemed like a nice bloke. Good hair but gay sunglasses though (he wasn't Robinson Crusoe there!!). Seemed pretty happy with his lot and was looking forward to playing a lot of ones....

That was his biggest problem at Carlton. This time last year, I was at a practice match at PP - Carlton v Port, and one of the Carlton stats guys was talking to someone just in front of me. They were asking about a few players - Murphy, Kennedy, etc, etc, and Chris Bryans name came up. I can't recall the exact words, but the guy said he was a lazy sh*t, and had a pretty bad attitude.

This would have surely contributed to him being delisted at the end of 2006, as he was after a 2 year contract, and Carlton would only offer 1. I hope he plays well at Collingwood, he does have the talent, you would just have to query what goes on above his shoulders.

As for Cam Cloke, went to PP yesterday for the Intra-Club game, and CC played very very well. Moved around the ground very well for a big bloke, and his foot skills are alot better than what I originally thought. Didn't do alot in the centre square, but was better than average around the ground. I wasn't that happy when we recruited him, but if he can maintain that kinda form, i'd be pretty happy with him at the club.

Also saw David and Jason Cloke at PP yesterday, and they both seemed pretty happy with Cam's efforts.

(FWIW, I hope both teams supporters don't boo Cloke and Bryan when the battle continues at the 'G during ther year)
