He was never good enough to play as a regular KPF at AFL level, and he would have known that.

His role was to be a pinch hitter in the event of injury or suspension, and that's exactly the role he filled. Got two more years out of his AFL career and played some quality SANFL footy. Good on him. He's played 44 more AFL games than most people ever will.

I'm sad for Marshall. Such a talent and has had so much tragedy in his family life as well. He seems a nice lad. I hope he doesn't get another concussion.

At least they actually played for the club. We gave Matthew Smith 5 years on the list for 0 games!

Can't fault his effort.

Unfortunately a decent sanfl level player who is too slow athletically for AFL.

Was the right decision to replace with Maley... who may not make it, but is very athletic.

I think there were a few of the Crows players who looked the same in that game.
