Chris Davies new GM Football at Carlton

Chris Davies has replaced Brad Lloyd as GM Football at Carlton, and Davies is rated highly internally at the Power and by Power supporters so he should do well at Carlton.

What changes can be expected in Carlton's football department? It'll be interesting to see what direction Davies decides to take. Will he try and make tweaks to the list with the aim to contend for a premiership while the likes of Curnow, McKay, Cripps, Weitering and Walsh are still in their prime years? Or will he conclude the list build has been a failure and opt to oversee a rebuild from ground zero?

He makes a great used car salesman, not sure about footy or sports in general.

I suspect Hinkley is not too far behind being hired for Carlton on a looong term contract.

He started with the club from 2015 and oversaw 3 finals wins & 7 finals losses. No grand final appearances. Got suckered into the Hiknley coolaid in re-sigining him for 2 contract extension terms. Delivered nothing in terms of winning culture or ruthless attitudes. Delivered the most unfit, under prepared Port Adeliade AFL team in season 2025.
