Hey no need to get feisty, you got to admit that was a dog-act, id never have thought he would do something like that, disgusting!!!

Rischitelli needs to admit that nothing happened. It is outrageous that Judd should be impugned in this way...

Your boy did not remonstrate because Juddy did nothing. He might have thought about pushing his head into the ground - which you see every week, but he didn't even go through with that

Enjoy your victory and go back to the soapies for your drama kick

And I will ask you as well - maybe one of you Eagles supporters will actually answer me.

Was that your view when he was involved in the incident in Launceston when wearing an Eagles guernsey?

When it happened with the Eagles, I was very worried and quite disappointed, but hypocritically defended him to the hilt on BF. Much like you guys are now. The difference between the two cases however is that this time, he saw the man's face on the ground and decided to have a go at it from a standing position. Both are/were very ordinary though.

Also, the rule says 'Misconduct: eye gouge/unnecessary or unreasonable contact to the face'. When you bend down and put your hands on someone's face/eyes, it would be very hard to argue that it was 'necessary' or 'reasonable'.

And yes, I am still bitter about Judd leaving, so feel free to disregard my opinion.

Another Eagle who still has not got over losing him :p

Nope i think youll find we are quite happy to have let him go. We got Kennedy and masten for him. Let see if you still will be happy in two years paying him 1.2mill to be ordinary. I feel another Kouta story.nates

It is just a bad look regardless, I'm not sure if he will get weeks but he wasn't in the play, the ball was wrapped up and he goes down and puts his hands over a players face who is on his back?

Why would you do that? You're better off slapping him in the face than poking at his eyes.

Stop making excuses.....he eye gouged and it was there for all to see..

A coward act if ever there was one...hope he gets at least two weeks..

He didn't get his eye. So no eye gouge.

We were all worried as he had ****ed up... should have been rubbed out fortunately Brown purged himself and St Christopher got off... lucky break.

Still doesn't mean he was not guilty.

But your point is valid we were all happy he got off.

You bet , but he doesn't wear our jumper any more so we no longer care. Let the MRP take its course.

This time he will go ... aint karma a bitch.

Yep - you're deleriously happy LOL

Riska may not have reacted, but it still doesn't give Judd or any player the right to do what he did...

I am enjoying the win thanks, but just because we won doesn't mean this issue should be swept under the carpet.

I won't defend Judd if he did the wrong thing.

I doubt if he gauged (sic), but I think he certainly looks like having to answer a charge under the misconduct rule you quoted.

It most certainly didn't look good and, as you said, it most certainly didn't look necessary.

I appreciate your honesty regarding your position back then by the way.

Incidentally, being patsmith does that mean that you related to beatlesmith? :D

Don't think there was much in it. His finger was on his eye but he wasn't pressing or anything. It was just wierd. Don't think he'll be suspended.

I have to agree.
Although all the ingredients were there, there seems to be no malice in it and Rischitelli did not seem to have any problem at the time or after he got up.

I reckon both may get a "please explain" in private just to cover the AFL's arses rather than anyone getting cited.

Definitely looked weird.

What - other than put limp fingers on the face of another player - do you think he did because that is all the tape shows DRAMA QUEEN

Yep, brothers. ;)

I think people are way too quick to defend their own players, and everyone is guilty of doing it. I'm sure everyone here is biased regarding this incident (you guys being pro-Judd, me being anti-Judd!), and when it comes down to it, no damage was done.

The issue I have is the intention that Juddy had. Let's face it (pardon the pun), there was no reason for him to have his hands anywhere near the bloke's face, and that will definitely come into the MRP's calculations. Were he still at my team, I would be the first to say there was nothing in it, etc etc, but realistically he could be in trouble.

If general concern over the welfare of my own and other players is being a drama queen, fine label me that!

I would love to see your reaction if it happened to one of your players, because i have a feeling you wouldn't be so condescending

What exactly was he doing? Feeling the smoothness of Rischetelli's face? I think not. Pretty disgusting act and he did it earlier in his career to a Hawthorn player.

I wish Carlton's Captain was a diver who suddenly finds his legs and the courage to take out players with a gutless bump.

Or hitting three players using his armguard.

w***er.
