When I saw the incident last night it didn't look as if his fingers were in his eyes. But you still have to worry about what he was actually doing. It doesn't look good either way.
He's fingers were on his forehead as he was using his thumb to press into the pressure point under/behind the ear, may have been using his fingers to press into his forehead as well. Just dont know why you would admit to it on national tv when the footage is inconclusive.

He was pushing his thumb in the pressure point under Rischitelli's earlobe? That is still pretty dirty. Someone of his calibre shouldn't have to resort to stuff like that.

Regardless of the above "proof", in the video his fingers are in the eyes as well as pressing behind the earlobe.

LOL Bichmond is still looking for anything they can call a victory

:thumbsd:
lol, his finger is right in his eye

Is that the ear is it?

You Richmond numpties are too much...

He was playing in a final, something your club hasn;t done for how many years....jealousy is a curse but 15th is worse.

Nothing in it, inconclusive.

It was a pretty stupid thing to do. I understand if your on the bottom of the pack trying to get someone off you, but why did he need to do it. Deserves something i think.

What is with all the deflection? Why not just address the facts presented instead of making irrelevant attacks on an opposition club. Or is it too much to face the truth about this?

The MRP might frame it as "unnecessary contact to the head" which is how Fev got suspended for something as equally harmless against Grover a few years back. I don't think there is a gouging charge as such.

Absolutely right! Judd himself was just on the Ten news basically admitting what he did was stupid and he expects it to be looked at. It was a weak act and while he tried to describe it as an attempt to hit a "pressure point" in front of the ear, an explanation that just made him look like a bigger idiot, he knows he got busted.

If someone had done the same thing to Judd, Carlton fans would be bleating!

He deserves weeks based on vision which shows he gouged a player's eyes while the player was pinned to the ground under a pack. Judd's media comments tonight were basically an admission he has done the wrong thing.

Go Lions!

I saw the news just now, IMO he didn't admit to anything, doubt whether he;ll get weeks. You guys are all over it because it;s Judd.

By the way gouged is spelt gauged, you;re the idiot.

You need to get over it you won the game.

Since when has running your hands over the face of a prone player ever been a part of football?

That isn't tough, it's absolutely gutless.

i agree. he's done this before and was lucky not to get anything. people need to remember there is a big difference between tough and dirty

Looks to me like there was some grass very near the Bear's player's eye
If this had gotten into the eye it may well have scratched the eye and lead to a conjunctivitis. That is never pleasant so Judd was brushing this grass away and doing the Bears player a big favour
And that is where we rest our case!

Uhhh gauge is a standard of measurement (Ie I gauged his footballing ability) whilst gouge means to dig or scoop, primarily in regards to the eye socket in modern day terms

Gauge
Gouge

And isn't the act of 'pushing' a fairly common act around football ovals all the friggin' time? No excuse to start going for the face/head (And his excuse was equally terrible, as if thats any better than going for the eye)

Either way IMO it is an inexcusable act, but I am not going to lie and say I wasn't happy when he was found not guilty a few years back in the Blue and Yellow. Though in that case, I was disappointed in him becuase his intentions were obvious, as they were last night. Such a pointless act for a champion to do, it doesn't make a single iota of sense.

Either way, good luck next year.

WHO is the idiot?

I think you need to get your dictionary out and get someone to look it up for you :D Ha Ha ha

Go Lions!

Listen to you ranting and raving on our board like a tosspot ...Judd never touched the loins players eyes ..despite numerous camera shots and angles his fingers never touched his eyes and the player got un unnaffected ..just crawl back to your own board and be happy the inept umpiring has given your mob an extra week of finals ..you will get pounded by the Dogs ..i don't think any other umpire will allow brown to be paid a mark when standing behind the goal line ..absolute disgraceful decision.

OMG I'm a numpty as well

Tell me something, at the end of the game why do they put the Lions club song words up on big screen ?

Maybe the guy behind me at the game when clapping and cheering was yelling "oh great catch"... (I'm thinking does he think he;s at the cricket...)

Lions won fair and square last night, the umpires had no impact on the result and that home crowd is worth 2-3 goals, they went off when J.Brown kicked that goal to make it 15 points, unbelievable, Rent-a-crowd.

Gonna go study the dictionary now...bye

Maybe Judd was eye gauging and not eye gouging Rischitelli. :)

Will get looked at and dismissed. Nothing in it. If he does get suspended Carlton should definitely take it to court as it wouldn't stand up to scrutiny.

Pretty weird play of events. Nothing really came out of it so it's hard to say what happened. You couldn't tell that to the Lions fans who on a fuzzy replay saw everything.

"JUDDY YOU ****ING GAUGER YOU'RRRRRRRRRRE GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN"

Then when ever he got the ball. "GGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGEEEEEER, the worst action you could ever do." I responded with how about head butting and he shouted back I only care about today. Then I chipped back with the "so you'll only hate a murderer if they did one on the day?"

Must say that didn't get any kind smiles from in the Lions fortress...

About Mitch Clarke? His hand looked pretty close to Grigg's face and then Kreuzer jumped in pretty angrily. He's normally quite reserved so something may of happened there.
