Why are people surprised that Carlton supporters on the whole don't believe Judd tried to 'intentionally' hurt Adams? After all, this is the club and supporter base that felt hard done by when the AFL imposed light sanctions on them for rorting the salary cap for years on end. It's their 'self entitlement' nature.

It is absolute bias stupidity. Judd doesn't let go of his arm when swallow tries to pull him off MAYBE if he let go immediately it would not have been so bad.
Judd should never had grabbed his arm in the first place, that's where the problem began, Judd's dirty tactics.

2-3 weeks for mine though no worse than Hunt who walked away with only a fine.
Hunt has nothing to do with this case, you are comparing apples to oranges.

First we have from Carlton supporters that Swallow is partly to blame, and now they are deflecting this episode onto what happened with Hunt. Seriously, lets stick to the real topic here, which is Judd's disgraceful act.

Judd deserves weeks. That said, don't recall anywhere near this level of hysteria for Hunt stomping on Betts' hand, which was atleast as bad as this incident.
For one, Hunt aint no Chris Judd.

Any player of Judd's standing is always going to attract more attention.

What you are forgetting too is the history aspect to this. You are also ignoring how attacking a defenseless player is seen by most people.

In these incidents, Judd approaches an already defenseless player. It's not like he eye gouged as part of a wrestle in a one on one. Same again in this latest episode, saw a defenseless player and took the cheapest of shots.

Really, the reaction of the North players said it all. They were incredulous to what they were seeing. The football world has reacted in kind.

as a west coast supporter believe me id love to see judd rubbed out,
but i think what these incidents show over the past few years is that they are kind of weird, unique thing he does in packs,
its like he freaks out, has a brain fade then pokes or twists something.

dont think he genuinely sets out to hurt someone other than to win that little scuffle.

nevertheless, whether he meant it or not,
he grabbed a guys arm outside of a genuine in play contest, lifted and twisted it,
brain fade or deliberate,
he'll be judged on the merits of the incident, fair and square.

Without doubt. But is it fair that he receives a worse penalty because of the hubbub? Hunt got away with a fine and nothing was made of it. If Judd gets only the one game tomorrow, there'll be a shitload said. He deserves 2 or 3 but could end up with 4 or 5 because of all that's been made of it.

Jeez, for mine that is the dirtiest thing I've seen on the field since Bazza Hall's hit on Staker. It's just so...unecessary. It's not in the heat of the moment. He's not trying to hold up play or niggle or anything like that, he's flat out trying to pop out the poor guy's shoulder.

Expecting a outcry thread from Carlton supporters once the verdict is out!
There's just no way of getting through to these people
Expecting an outcry from all other supporters when it gets thrown out on a technicality.....

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Tribunal is more like a court these days.

NEWS FLASH

The AFL's Match Review Panel decided it could not consider the charges against Chris Judd, as they were considered too serious for the MRP.

The Tribunal has now decided that the matter is also considered too serious for the Tribunal to deal with.

Consequently the Tribunal has referred the matter directly to the International War Crimes Commission where offences such as torture can be dealt with.

It is also believed that the French police want to interview a certain Monsieur Judd over the incident in which tacks were placed on the course of Le Tour overnight. Judd has indicated that he meant the riders no harm -" I just wanted to puncture their tyres so the riders would slow down on the dangerous descent."

Well, as with all bad liars, your lies come back to bite you on the arse.

Hunt should have got min 2. But as seems to happen 99% of the time with Geelong players, he was given the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't in the ballpark of Judd's though. Hunt was in a contest with Betts. Judd's action was that of your ultimate coward.

Attacking a player who's being held down has to be a line players never cross.

Ultimately though, one bad decision doesn't justify another.

Judd needs a right royal whack.

There can be only one...
Do you think Judd would have done it if Adams hadnt had a prior injury?

The existing injury was the reason he did it.
I don't know, it is just very odd, there are a lot of players who have taped shoulders and it's the first player he has done it. I have no idea what goes through a player's mind.
