There's an interesting segment on Access All Areas in which they play some of the radio commentary from this incident. Compared to the channel 7 commentary, they take it far more seriously. (Billy Brownless a bit too much). Sorry, no link but it's available on the AFL homepage in Latest Videos.

And Dennis, I love your commentary but seriously that opinion piece that was posted in this thread earlier is a bit embarrassing.

I don't know, it is just very odd, there are a lot of players who have taped shoulders and it's the first player he has done it. I have no idea what goes through a player's mind.
Theres no doubt in my mind he targetted Adams because of his injury. That makes the injury report a bit moot because of the deliberate nature of what he did.

NEWS FLASH

The AFL's Match Review Panel decided it could not consider the charges against Chris Judd. as the they were considered too serious for the MRP.

The Tribunal has now decided that the matter is also considered too serious for the Tribunal to deal with.

Consequently the Tribunal has referred the matter directly to the International War Crimes Commission where offences such as torture can be dealth with.

It is also believed that the French police want to interview a certain Monsieur Judd over the incident in which tacks were placed on the course of Le Tour overnight. Judd has indicated that he meant the riders no harm -" I just wanted to puncture their tyres so the riders would slow down on the dangerous descent."

Still bemused as to why the Blues fans are sticking up for Judd
The hyperbolic title and ridiculous posts within are why most Blues fans are in here.

I think most Carlton fans agree it was crude and unnecessary, but draw the line at claims he deliberately tried to dislocate Adam's shoulder. That sort of garbage should be left to the Bay.

Smart post, a shame some others can't see the malice behind Judd's actions.

Out of all the arms he could have tried to remove from a shoulder, he chose one that was taped.

Its patently obvious .

And the tribunal will agree with me.
Ah, now I see. In a calculated, pre-mediated fashion, he chose Adam's right arm out of the 44 potential Nth Melbourne arms available as it would give him the best ability to cause maximum pain.

Timmy, you have missed your calling. You have the ability to become the most creative fiction writer that Thomastown has ever produced.

I can see now your best selling trilogy "50 Shades of Dislocated Shoulders".

Keep up the great work!!

He deliberately tried to injure him.

And his shoulder popped

I have not heard a rational argument to the contrary.

Half baked attempts at humiliating me dont change the facts. They just suggest youre clutching at straws.

Public humiliation always proceeds any half-decent brutal execution.
careful - Carlton supporters would love a martyr - a committee would select which postings on BF, Brucies comments and which selective stats would be included in the "book" and a new religion is born

Dont have a clue what he was thinking...must have been a brain snap! Probably all the frustration from the season!

He will get 5 weeks for it. Sums up our season and really disappointing :(

Novel acts require novel penalties. He will get hit with 7 or more weeks!

I love AFL. If I wanted to watch UFC armbars on pay-per-view, then I would pay cash for it.
I don't want my kids to watch Judd.

Eye-gouging, pressure-pointing, elbowing, shoulder-dislocating etc....

I just looked at the Wellingham/Simpson incident again, and if you look closely you can see Judd grab Wellinghams arm which prevented him from turning so that he could protect Simpson.

Quite disgraceful really.

Again, some genius Carlton supporters are saying that Adams' shoulder was only dislocated because the North players pushed Judd whilst Judd was holding Adam's arm.

No, i'm not making that up. Go read the Carlton boards.

This is my reply to that;

To me it looked like nothing other than him trying to hurt Adams whilst trying (very poorly) to disguise it as an attempt to ****** Adams.

The other fallacy purported by apologists is that Judd was making space for someone to clear the ball.

Perhaps he also should have got his left leg out of the way.
