To me it looked like nothing other than him trying to hurt Adams whilst trying (very poorly) to disguise it as an attempt to ****** Adams.
Yeah I know.... should have done a better job than that! The sad thing is that he deserves to get at least 5 weeks. You think being the captain would stop stupid things like this out of his game.

Again, some genius Carlton supporters are saying that Adams' shoulder was only dislocated because the North players pushed Judd whilst Judd was holding Adam's arm.

No, i'm not making that up. Go read the Carlton boards.
I wouldn't bother trying to reason with them. I just went back and read the threads from the Essendon game and I can tell you that at least 2 people in this thread that are trying to play it down, we're calling for Lonergans head and labeling him a filthy dog.

A normal Carlton supporter other than Thrawn.

I have seen it all...

Well done mate.

Good on you for not letting bias get in the way of reasoning.

Kudos to you.

Judd needs a right royal whack.
From Carlton supporters.

Spot the difference!

Judd's thinking. No need to get excited as I don't really care about this game or supporters so where's my money?

Funny as it was, that oogac video was the first time I had seen it in close up and slo mo.

As someone who's had half a dozen shoulder dislocations, you can easily pick the exact moment the shoulder pops. Just before the north guys pulled judd off adams, you see the arm give a obvious "jolt". Absolute textbook dislocation. Makes me wince

Don't agree with your analysis Chadwiko, the jolt in the arm happened just before swallow grabbed him imo

"We thought it was unsportsmanlike in nature. It has the potential to bring the game into disrepute so we thought it would be better served by sending it straight to the tribunal for a verdict."

I have to agree and if there was any doubt about it, it would not have been sent straight to the tribunal!

You have gotta love the way Juddy goes about his footy 99.95% of the time, BUT seriously that other 0.05% what a weird unit, poking eyes, bending back arms. Very weird stuff, let's hope some young guys get a run in what I expect will be an extended absence for our skipper.

Really disappointing...

He deliberately tried to injure him.

And his shoulder popped

I have not heard a rational argument to the contrary.
Judd will plead guilty and get a nice plea bargain of a couple of weeks for a reckless act with no malice and the AFL will smooth it over. Everyone's reputation intact at least in a PR sense.

Move along people. Nothing to see here.

Love my Blues but I call a spade a spade. There's no excuse for it! Probably all the other Blues fans are backing up their captain and twisting it to what they wanna believe.
There's supporting your club and players, and then there's blindly supporting them.

Reminds me so much of some Liverpool supporters blindly defending Suarez earlier this year.

To be fair to juddy it's harsh to hang him on that one still. Lots of footage of him looking extremely stoked

Funnily enough he dislocated a shoulder in that game

I know this is a piss take video but it had by far the best footage of the incident I have seen.

Well done oogac, I hadn't seen that camera angle yet.

There is no question whatsoever that Judd not only intended to hurt him, he tried (successfully) to pop his shoulder.

The more you watch it the worse it looks.
When you see the "pressure point" one, he actuallu holds Rischatelli's arm the same way first before going in for the gouge. Media got to call Judd on these, it's cowardly

Fair point Mancey. He does like the cash though. I bet you WCE guys are stoked when JJ kicks bags.

Well, we would be if he could get on the park.

TBH, unlike a lot of WC fans i love Juddy, always supported him. But this was pretty indefensible

How is it not? Hunt clearly stomps down on his hand, Betts writhing in pain while Hunt lifts hand casually. Almost a like for like scenario.
Look at the angle the wrist bends at, could've broken it (I'm assuming).

How these incidents are that much different in the severity is beyond me - one no more malicious than the other - the response appears to be explained by the level of injury sustained by the opponent - which is the exact thing posters week in, week out lament when it comes to the tribunal.

Plenty to see. Let the Judd off lightly and watch Izzy & campaigner rip sinews out from the bone!

The game has moved on in the last few years.
