Goodes is good but judd is just that bit better. In my opinion judd has dominated more games than goodes has. Brownlow's don't mean everything. Judd probably would have won it if had not gotten injured plus theres so many other stars in the midfield department to take votes away from him.

Explain that logic? You can't be serious, surely.

Right......Well if you are going to make your argument based on what you will assume would of happened then you really don't have an argument.

Fair enough. But having those superstars around him also makes his job easier.

Those superstars take votes off him but do they make his job easier?

Contested Possessions (per game):
Judd = 5, Goodes = 2.

Tackles:
Judd 6, Goodes 4.

First possesions:
Judd 7, Goodes 4.

Clearances:
Judd 7, Goodes 3

Judd also scores more goals, takes the ball inside 50 more, has 25% more total disposals, has more long kicks, makes 50% less errors (even though he has the ball more) and averages 3 bounces per game to Goodes 1.

So he beats him in all the hard categories, he beats him in the running/line breaking categories and he beats him in taking it forward and kicking goals.

Judd is a better player who unfortunately (as regards the Brownlow) has 3 other guys in the midfield who take votes from him. Goodes does not.

Judd is better simple.

Having more Brownlows than another player doesn't make you better than another.

Was Woewodin a better player than Wayne Carey? I don't think so.

However Adam Goodes is a champion player and deserves all the credit he gets.

I just think JUDD is one of a kind. And that isn't coming from just Eagles supporters. Players/coaches/media/fans say players like Judd only come a long once in a while.

Why is it that Weagles supporters feel the need to create polls comparing Judd to other players? He's commonly acknowledged by the public and the media as the best player in the comp. He's won a brownlow, a norm smith & a premiership. There's no more accolades to get.

You know he's great, we know it, the media knows it! Come on Weagles fans, why the need to constantly hear how great he is?

Your a great example of what I was referring to in my previous post. All have agreed, so why do you need to hear it anymore?

If you actually go and read the first post of the thread you will find the answer to your question.

I voted Goodes. And with no bias. I think Judd relies heavily on pace to break packs and what not. Goodes has the freakish talent to play anywhere on the park and dominate games. 2 Brownlows says it all folks.

Go back to following Rugby League because you're clearly showing you have no football knowledge at all.

If you voted for Goodes, you are either:
a) a Sydney supporter
b) a ******
c) a Judd hater

I was raised in Melbourne, so i've watched plenty of AFL. Goodes is a superior player. :)

Fact is, if Goodes had 4 Brownlow's and Judd 0, the result of this poll would not be any different. Make of that what you will, but I will say one more thing. The impact of the media on the football public is severly under-rated.

Yep, brownlows mean nothing really. I find it funny that Sydney fans are the ones that complain the most about umpires and yet put so much stock into the brownlow which the umps decide. AFLPA MVP is what it's all about as far as individual awards go.

All 3?

I hate it how people rate the AFLPA MVP so high, the players admit that they dont watch most games so their vote is really just a media vote because its done all on what they hear. Would be great to win but in my eyes its even more of a populartity contest than the brownlow medal.

As far as this poll goes its Judd quite easily.

Judd, he is younger and still has plenty of time and potential to win another Brownlow.

May question still stands...why do you care what a couple of supporters from Sydney think? Everyone else agrees with you.

**** I hate that rolling eyes face.:p

It's typical eagles ****, always including the results that suit their argument but forget about the bigger picture.

I think the Grand final is really the only match that matters for the year in the big scheme of things. You can play good all year, but if you play ****house in the grand final, then in a sense its a bit of a wasted year.

Lynch has never had a bad grand final :thumbsu:

no way in hell would i take goodes over JUDD!!! JUDD is a Legend love watching him play same as i love watching Hird and Lloyd. Its the same as saying Goodes was better than hird and voss because he won more brownlows. its been proven how stupid the brownlow is sometimes look back at round 3 2004 essendon vs west coast. Hird was clearly best on ground and didn't poll a vote for that match.
