I would suggest slotting him out onto the wing and run Murphy and Robinson in the centre. If the opposition want to tag him, they will have to send their best midfield tagger out onto the wing to try and curb him. I reckon that could be a very good tactic when he starts getting a hard tag.
Actually had this thought while watching the game. Nobody would tag him out there and I don't think any team has a defensive winger yet.
Thing is he's lost his early season zip and if it's not injury per Ratten then it's wear and tear.
Hopefully he's cherry ripe for rnd 1 but either way I'd move him away from the ball up (and not necessarily forward) more often as his career winds down.
Otherwise the midfield needs to take an extra step as a collective before he's not the first one tagged.
Gibbs moving through there on Sat night would have been handy.
