Wrong, the Eagles would be waiting with arms wide open. All you Richmond fans need to get out of this fanasty land your lving in and realise you don't get gun players for nothing in the PSD.
2003 vintage Nick Stevens?

Danog is quite correct, if Knights wanted to go to the Tigers, he could walk there by nominating for the PSD with a big salary attached. The Eagles would probably prefer to spend their money on their own players.

Difference here is Chris Knights is not a knob like Nick Stevens. Plus I highly doubt West Coast would pass on a player like him if available for nothing, even with a price on his head.

Off the field, he's one of the most highly respected and rated players we have, for his work ethic, character and dedication. There are quite a few of us on the Crows board who believe he'd be a strong contender for our Captaincy, if he'd played most of this season.

On field, he was a good mid-fielder, then in 16 games he kicked around 45 goals, while also tackling and working his arse off, and feeding the ball to our other forwards.

Give him another year or two of consistent footy, and he'll be one of the premier HFFs in the comp, no doubt in my mind.

As I've said in other threads, watch the Collingwood vs Crows semi; he was dominating before he went down, and so were we. When we lost him, we lost our conduit to goal, and constantly fell apart trying to go through the HF line.

PSD is an overused threat. I'm sure Nick Stevens was wondering about his bluff call for a while.

If Chris Knights is looking to come to play for a Vic club, why would WCE pick him up in the PSD if he walks out?

Adelaide have to get over this notion that CK is worth a first round draft pick, potential alone doesn't get you a first round pick, heck even Tambling has potential and has played 1 good year, should we expect a first round draft pick?

Face the fats Adelaide if the rumours are true, and he is looking to come back to Vic the RFC are in prime position to take him, Collingwood probably have zero chance of getting him, they asked Cloke to take a paycut, so how can they fit CK in there salary cap?

Also you Adelaide supporters are a walking contradiction, in the Tambling thread where is supposedly wanting out of the club you lot say he will walk out of the club if he doesn't get the price he is asking for on his contract, yet you come on here and say CK is a good bloke and won't walk out on the club because he is an angel yadda yadda yadda.

Face facts, money talks, didn't Bock just walk out of your great club because he was chasing the $ ?

Reality is if he wants out hes getting out, play hard ball and he may just walk out into the PSD.

Id be more worried about the fact he hasn't signed a week after the season finished.

I was just saying, he's a gun off the field (fair enough), but he's similar to Didak and SJ who aren't exactly squeaky clean off the field.;)
