A fit knights reminds me of a smaller stewart dew who has the ability to change/win a game in 5 minutes. The problem with knights is he can't play more then two games in a row and he drifts in and out of games. As long as we don't have to give up much for him($), I don't mind this trade.

So you expect these players to leave there clubs where they would be on much more coin then what you are offering and asking them to leave for a wage that's just above the average rookie wage??

Knights probably wont even be offered a contract on his last 2 years form & Injuries - also wants to come home

300k is a wage close to what Conca would be earning, you also can't poach a FA unless they are in the teams top10 highest paid players, I'm positive Chaplin is on good coin at PA, heck if Graham and McGuane can squeeze 400 and 450k out of us I'm sure someone of Chaplins quality and experience would be on something around that.

And as for Knights, you're in la la land if you think he wouldn't be offered up another contract by another club, Adelaide have a surplus of medium forwards and Knights is the one who just happens to be out of form and from Victoria looking to come home.

Highly doubt that, Dayne Beams has just resigned for $350 k a year - which of these players would be of his quality

Knights would of been what you say he is but you must realise that he hasnt played properly for 2 years & was looking at a base contract to remain at the crows.

I wouldnt pay either of these 2 players $400k a year, rather just get Goddard and give him the $800k and get another Rookie

Great to hear..Why the hell would you want to go to Melbourne other than extra $..He will be a very handy & classy pick up for us.Be a shrewd pick up especially if we lose Nahas which is on the cards if the 4 year big money offer from an interstate club rumour is true.
