Yep Wont knock his overall performance today. Early on he could not hit a target kicking or handballing. Game opened up in 2nd half and he was better.

Like ol mate said his best game stat wise all season. Overall the whole season if the midfield stayed the same and we nabbed Kelly/Cripps then he would be struggling. As would Sheed thou he played at Half Fwd well, Liam Ryan is gonna get that spot fairly soon.

HT I can't understand how you don't Waterman in the side due to his kicking but you advocate for Ainsworth for a wing role., even tho Ainsworth is arguably the worst kick in the side. Good kicking is more important in the wing/outside midfield role that in the forward line or even HFF.

28 disposals, solid game today, and being at the ground you can appreciate the spots he knows to run to when the clearance out of the congestion is there for the taking
He was deep in defence trying to win the ball as well. Didn't win a ton of it but neither did the dogs.

Ainsworth the preseason bolter will replace Masten who got the lifeline as Ainsworth got injured just before Round 1. Masten didnt play a preseason game because Eagles thought Ainsworth would come in.

Go Ainsworth.

Just a reminder of this. I dont have a short memory.

Then the tough little bugger got injured.
So, your saying Ainsworth will replace Masten as the Eagles pre season bolter?

He was this preseason. Go back and look into it..

Ainsworth was locked for RD 1 on the wing. Masten did not play any preseason.
The week of RD 1 or week before Ainsworth got injured. You will find the article the week before saying that he was locked.

Then you will find an article saying Masten was given a lifeline when Ainsworth got injured. I have posted the Ainsworth article.

Avishka i was right you were wrong. Because guess what Simmo made the change for structure. It had more to do with Nic Nat not playing fwd. They still wanted a 2nd ruck but then Vardy covers Fwd line.
Darling then does the running Waterman would.

I understand structure and tactics you dont. You are all about straight swaps. There is a lot more to football bud.

He did run really hard. I have never questioned his running ability. I will never question Kane Mitchells running ability either. Thou i will question his disposal.
I wont knock his overall performance today. He is a good match up for the smalls of the dogs.

Ok Schofield or Barrass on Ben Brown?

That was a minor comment on radio by Yeo. Ridiculous to say he was a lock.

Sheed certainly doesnt fit at half forward. And on that i would drop him. He doesnt tackle much either does Masten.
Sheed is an inside clearance player. He has a got quite a nice hit up pass. He hits fwds on the tit. I dont know where he fits.
