I'd suggest the great job of suppressing the aggression by protesters has been done by the algorithm in your feed from videos mostly uploaded by pro-Palestinian protesters.

The NSW police have claimed and charged people with assault, threats, projectile throwing, abuse and intentional breaking of lines, then I'm sure their body cam footage will very much come in handy.

I'm happy to change my mind in light of the police's cameras showing completely unprovoked attacks by the same law enforcement that has overseen around 100 other protests, but for now, I think trial by social media uploads is idiotic.
FMD an older guy is standing with his hands up in the universally-recognised gesture of peaceful surrender. And a cop is punching the shit out of him.

A kid is held to the ground, clearly completely immobilised. And a cop is punching the shit out of him.

Muslims are praying, prone on the ground. And the cops are laying into them.

Have you completely lost touch with reality?

Tbh, IDGAF whether you change your mind or not. Actually being completely honest, I no longer GAF about you and your delusions in any context. Cheerio 😀

Presumably your feed hasn’t excluded them so maybe you can share them to bring some “balance” to the conversation.

Of course, as you point out, any member of the public who did assault a policeman will be charged and prosecuted. Will the cops who assaulted members of the public - unprovoked or with excessive force - be similarly dealt with?

"Legal observers and attendees of the protest in Sydney against Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s visit have reported that police engaged in excessive use of force, dangerous crowd control tactics, use of weapons like capsicum spray to disperse crowds, assault of bystanders and legal observers, denial of medical treatment for people arrested, and the violent interruption of Muslim people engaged in prayer.

What is lost in too much of the reporting is the very important reason that people have taken to the streets. The UN Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory has found that Isaac Herzog incited genocide. The International Court of Justice is currently trying a case in which Israel is accused of genocide.

Australia is obliged by the Genocide Convention to take reasonable action to contribute toward preventing genocide. We must protect the right of Australian citizens to exercise their democratic rights to call for our Governments to do more in aid of their obligations under international law.

Instead, politicians are today seeking to place blame for the violence on protestors, who were exercising their fundamental rights to assembly and political expression."

It's curious how old mate went missing once they were asked to share this footage of protesters instigating violence that their balanced and impartial feed is totally showing, hey?

Not going to share this utter campaigner's bullshit, but he's really used his post wishing Muslims a happy Ramadan as another opportunity to gaslight them (and everyone else) about what happened last Monday.

He continues to embarrass himself and the NSW Labor Party more and more everyday. And, to be frank, the Federal Labor Party, with the way Albo continues to kowtow to him.

Regardless of everything else, it's astonishing that him saying the views of Labor MPs at the protest were irrelevant hasn't resulted in greater pushback from within the party. It's one of the most dangerous anti-Democratic things I can recall an Australian leader saying in quite some time.

Is there something wrong with the water in NSW?

Minns, Morrison, Abbott, Barnaby up north, Taylor, Hawke, George Chritianson, .......

They are all complete dickheads

I forgot Mark Latham
From the day of the first colonial landing, NSW became a police state. Nothing has changed.

McCarthyist Minns, what an absolute fascist little flog.

Calling people Commies as a slur, like it was the 50s.
Lol he’s only saying what the majority of Australians think not what the posters of the BF echo chamber think.

got some polling to back up the idea that the majority of australians would think the protest organisers are communists?

last I checked Palestine wasn't run by communists

why would people protesting against a foreign head of state accused of war crimes be communists?

Why would your average Aussie make a connection in that direction?

lol he told me everyone thinks you're a weasel for fronting on election nights '22 and '25

this is the modus operandi of the zionists. they aren't numerically big, but their influence and power derived through the strategic use of money, threats, and influence is gigantic.

"Chris Minns did not arrive at this moment by accident. He was built for it.

In 2003, before he held any significant office, Minns was selected for the AIJAC Rambam Israel Fellowship – an all-expenses-paid program with one purpose: take promising Australian political figures to Israel, immerse them, and bind them."

"This is what a captured politician looks like at full maturity. Not a man receiving instructions. A man whose grooming was so complete, whose alignment so total, that the apparatus of the state now moves on instinct – his instinct, shaped over two decades by the lobby that identified him, cultivated him, and placed him precisely where he would be most useful which kills two Australian women every week. There is no intelligence-led rapid response unit for organised crime in Western Sydney. There is one for this"
