He should be on this morning with KB.

Just a random comment:
This is really odd listening to the media and especially KB talk about Richmond in a positive light. I'm not used to it.

They can see the light, finallyyy.

Cotchin, Martin, Riewoldt, Nason, Connors, Deledio and our new prized player (hopefully Darling) will be mopping the floor with many teams in a few years.

Okay, here is a review of what they said.

They start off by playing the awesome rendition of the song, which got KB excited again.

Newman comments on how much of a good experience it was for the young players.

KB asked Newman if it was a relief. Newman said it was overwhelming, all those losses built up, and when that win occured, he was overwhelmed not relieved.

KB asked Newman how those young players could play in such conditions. Newman said they played basic football.

They speak about JR, Newman said he has been terrific, great development, lots of leadership by him, kicks the goals that count.

KB talked about Nason, he said whoever picked him up, should be happy because he has been a surprise packet. Newman said Nason is a really good kid, had some injuries when he came to the club, he works really hard and presents really well.

Dustin Martin. KB comments on his mature body, talks about Tigerland is the place to be. Newman says that he is confident Martin will stay. He praises Martin's big quads, lmao.

KB's sidekick asked how important was it for KB to be in the rooms before the match. Newman said it's really important and he gave a great speech before the match.

KB praises Griffiths, saying he took a really good mark (we all know which one). KB says that we may have a big fella that could be a force in a couple of years. Newman agrees and comments that Griffiths competes well on ground level too.

Troy Simmonds and Can cousins play on? Newman said Cousins can and said they are looking forward to sending of Simmonds with style.

KB very happy with Richmond's win and gives the thumbs up to Newman, Deledio and Moore.

Newman talks about Richo's farewell, should be a great night. It's his fourth farewell.

Newman spoke very well. His manner kinda of reminds me of J Bowden - but are calm and well-spoken.

SEN loves playing the richmond song lol

I didn't listen to NOVA this morning. Is Cousins on tomorrow morning? I bet Kate and co. will be singing the song when he is on.

I reckon Newy has finally become comfortable with the whole leadership tag...looked to be overwhelmed with it last year...In recent weeks we have seen him play his BEST footy once again and really leading from the front with hard at it contesting and bringing the footy back into the corridor...I reckon there is a fair amount of mutual respect bw coach and captain

I agree with you, it would have been hard last year though. I think the last 4 or so weeks in particular he has been very solid and has started many forward thrusts for our team.

He is hard at it and I think he has confidence in himself once again.

Was everywhere in that first quarter, pretty sure he picked up 11 possies in it alone. Set us up for the match and then was solid throughout as a captain should
