Slow learner yeah .... He said he wanted to only be traded to Collingwood, thereby sabotaging our prospects of getting somewhere close to his trade value. Do that and you get some grief from fans.

exactly right - it was "Collingwood or retire" and he made it so public that no other club would even look at wasting a pick as he said he would retire if another club picked him up - this totally F@##'d Freo for getting any worthwhile compensation in trade with Colonwood. If it was purely for family he would not have been concerned which Melb club he played for. If he had any regard to do the right thing for Freo, and still ensure he would make it to Collingwood he would have allowed Freo the opportunity to gain reasonable trade value from Collingwood before making those statements - he is a total F*kwit as a person.
Remember he would have been on the scrapheap long ago if Harvey and co hadn't forced him to turn things around. I hope he enjoys his life in obscurity (knowing full well his and his spouses egos) - his capabilities and the way he treats people guarantees it.

As an eagles supporter I know we dont always see eye to eye, but I would just like to condone the fact that Chris Tarrant is clearly an absolute pr*ck and I too am clearly chuffed by the fact his career is over and without a premiership medal.
