Argubely the two best forward combinations in the competition but which pair make a stronger team? IMO it's a tough one but I have to say Pavlich & Tarrant I think they'll be great this year I think Lucas is the worst out of the 4.

Tarrants arrival is going to impact significantly on Ryan Murphy's career. Wonder how long he'll put up with playing in the ressies for? If you don't need him, can we have him?

Pavlich is the best of the four, Tarrant is the worst of the four.

A fully fit Matthew Lloyd would be the second best and Lucas would come in 3rd.

If your picking Scott Lucas after his round 1 heroics then I suggest you wait a little longer because it's only been RD 1 both teams face off this Sunday in what should be a cracker jack of a game. Last week Lloyd (2) & Lucas (7) combined for 9 goals while Tarrant (2) & Pavlich (5) combined for 7 goals.

I know that, as a newbie, you are trying to sound impartial. However, Lucas and Lloyd are a far more proven combo than Tarrant/Pavlich at the moment. Pavlich is awesome and Tarrand has great potential. However, Lloyd and Lucas have proven themselves. 'nuff said. No shame in talking your team up ;)

Lucas has the ability to do this consistently, just look at last year.

Wow, Tarrant and Pavlich are already one of the comps best combinations after just one game
At this stage there is only one proven combination and that is Lloyd and Lucas, might well be different at the end of the season though.

Pavlich would be the best of the four - but LLoyd & Lucas is one helluva combo, and flanker Tarrant doesn't belong in the same sentence as the other three.

Well today all 4 had great games and these two pairs certainly are becoming the comps best forward combination. Encouraging signs for freo supporters to see Tarrant bag 4 should give him some confidence in the Big Derby ahead next week. Essendon face Carlton who have conceded the most number of points so far while Essendon rank 2 in attack. So we possibly could see raining goals but these two are always close contests.

Tazz and Pav worked really well today, very impressed considering its only their second game together. Will be a big force as weeks go by.
