As a club with no father son picks or academy players, why should we care? We've got limited space on our list and don't need to be hitting the draft heavily. 2 first rounders, Townsend, and some rookie upgrades and we're good!

You do know that two second round talents points don't equate to one first round talent, right? Otherwise why don't you trade pick 1 for some later first rounders? You'll get more points!

You can have them pick you but the onus is now on you to satisfy all parties without leaving the player twisting in the wind.

That's the difference.
I know. Richmond know. Thats why we worked to get a pick in the area he is worth.
What have Calrton done to help the trade move? We've changed our offer from 31 to 19. Calrton have done......jack shit.

The blues where willing to take 15 from the hawks but not 19 from the team he wants to get to?
Is that Dodo from the bombers working at the blues now?

Dodo just worked a miracle. Hope SOS does the same with Yarran. 19 will be a win anyway. Anything better will be another miracle.

:D

Pay that.

In truth though, 2014 he was terrific.
Agree, his 2102 and 2013 IMO were not bad either. yeah he shit the bed in 2015, that is why i find this "so strong" line comical. You guys dont want him, that is clear, he is on 450k. You need cap space else why would you entertain trading another small forward who can kick goals when you guys cant score goals now anyway ?

We wont bend, we wont offer 12, guess Yarran will be a blue on paper next year. He many due to "mental health" reasons never play a game next year, whiile still getting paid and training for free keeping himself fit and healthy for us next off season when he comes to us for free and you get way less then pick 19 in value.

We on the other hand, go draft 2 more 200 game players.

2 second rounders for 19 just add fuel to the fire that SOS and others are playing on the stupidity of some in the RFC footy dept to exploit them to gain advantage for their clubs.

SOS has already had a win if RFC has traded those picks for 19 and the fact RFC footy dept has no clear action plan for 19 that can be utilised for immediately just shows up their amateurism!!!

Lol, and that sums up the Richmond sentiment. "Take what we give you and piss off".

So Strong.
Quote the whole post or none of it.
You need the picks and we need the player, pick 19 is fair and reasonable. Sticking to pick 31 would have been "Take what we give you and piss off".
Richmond made an effort to accommodate Carlton and, it appears, that Carlton aren't making the same effort to accommodate Richmond and Chris Yarran.

We don't have to do a thing. The onus is on you to satisfy our demands.
No its not, when the demands are unreasonable.
Hes not worth pick 12, Richmond dont give a shit if you say you want pick 12 for him.
Hes not worth pick 12, Richmond know it, Carlton know it, the rest of the league knows it.
I dont think you understand how trades work.

So don't do the trade. That's how trades work. Quit whining about it & walk away

That's most likely what's gunna happen

You may want to actually talk to your player again through, you haven't since he walked and there is some massive fence mending to be done with him staying

Repeating over and over that pick 19 is fair and reasonable isn't going to help you. We disagree and have made that clear.

Just because you uped your ridiculous low ball offer isn't very helpful either.

Pay what we ask or move on. You're just gumming up the works at this point.
