I can't see how Richmond would be duped into thinking that the Blues want to keep Yarran. The longer this goes, the more likely it is they'll take pick 19. Richmond should swap back for their 2nd round picks and withdraw their 19 offer and give them something worse.

You don't trade out Henderson, Menzel (probable) as well as the last few years of trading out everybody unless you're starting from scratch (again). Surely Murphy and Gibbs will want out at the end of next year, maybe try to have a bit of success at a new club before they can walk on Free Agency. Blues will probably insist on two first round picks and not get the deals done....again.

Don't know why Richmond people are sounding so desperate, the longer it drags, the stronger their position.

I get that. I'm willing to take what we get in FA and set a standard. Understand NOW?
Again you show how little you know.

You will get nothing in the FA period.

Yarran being blocked going to the tigers, can take the blues to court for a restraint of trade. He can highlight how contracts are easily broken by clubs using menzle as a recent example. Blues get mired in a contract battle, costs them heaps while Yarran is covered by the PA...Blues are already 9 million in debt and while this is all going on, he is happy drawing his wage and hanging at punt road.

He can also just not play games due to mental health or player health reasons, still draw a wage and play no games. He has so many options, the blues dont.

So make your stand, and watch your players know, 100% that if it suits the blues they will trade them but when they want out, the blues will crucify them. Good luck retaining and bringing in new talent.

True but do the Tigers have any other potential late deals being held up by this bullshit from Carlton?

I would give them a 2pm dead line today then wash our hands. rumor is that we have asked about Steele from GWS a gun that is worth 12 imo. Hope this rubbish from the blues is not holding that up.

Carlton supporters fail to realise they are just as committed to trading Yarran out as we are to trading him in. This put up or shut up mentality is fine for now, but when the dead line approaches and they are about to be stuck with a player who hates them and is being paid $450K pa, the melts will be amazing.
Even better when he leaves as FA and they don't get close to pick 19 for him.

Look at all the past pick 19s. would you take them or Yarran?
Again you show how little you know about the value of pick 19. With the bidding on academy kids, 4 of them will be used in the first round. So pick 19 will give us a pick 15 quality kid, thats another Vlaustin another Ellis etc.
