Carlton fans don't factor in his attitude problems, we do.
The idea of him changing clubs is to get rid of the attitude problems. If not, then why bother with him at all?
Strictly on talent terms he is top level. If Richmond are not planning to get that out of him, then they shouldn't waste the time considering it.

Considering the Yarran has sold his house and investment property in Melbourne, he could be thinking of joining Eddie Betts in Adelaide. They are great mates and Yarran hasn't been the same since he left.
He could also be looking to go back to Perth. After all, there are distinct family issues there that he needs to be present to address.

The Yarran Saga has many more chapters to be written yet. I wouldn't be trying to drive down the price yet.

A scenario that hasn't had a lot of air time as yet is a very simple one: Carlton don't like any of the deals proposed. They decide to keep Yarran, as he is contracted.
You never know, a new coach and a new regime might be what he needs?
Nobody else would like that scenario, but the benefit for Carlton is to get reasonable compensation at the end of 2016 if it doesn't work out. From Yarran's point of view, he gets to go simply to the team that is willing to deliver what he wants.
I don't think it is particularly likely, nor that desirable. But it could happen.

You fail to understand he has already said and nominated Richmond as his preferred club next year

Seems the most likely thing is now that asbury wants a trade to Brisbane, its going to be a 3 way trade involving a swap in second round picks for asbury to brisbane for which we get Brisbane second rounder they get ours, which we use on yarran which is around pick 20, and then brisbane use our pick 35 or so to get tom bell.
Carlton simply wouldn't consider this one. In what is supposed to be the worst ever draft cohort, it simply does not value either of our players remotely adequately.
For all the flack given to Tom Bell, he finished 4th in our B&F and won the Most Improved Player. There is no chance we would let him go for a mid 30'd pick. It wouldn't even start discussion.

OK Richmond supporters, say Yarran was to go elsewhere however Lennon still wanted a trade to the Blues. What do you think it would take to get Lennon to the Blue. Just keep it simple coz I don't want to take away from the fact that this is a Yarran thread.

That really does favour Richmond. I can't see Carlton going for it. Nor for Lennon and steak knives. But how things work out in the trade game is anyone's guess.
I totally agree, Carlton wants the best deal they can and they are looking to move on any player which will effect there rebuild. Yarren is on that list and good on them (Carlton) for moving on players that don't fit their model. This has been in the works longer then most people think.

Carlton did ask for lennon and why wouldn't they, but so far this has been rejected and lennon is a required player.

My source is Carlton based.

Ryan O'Keefe said a few years ago he wanted out of Sydney and ended up staying.
A contract means more than you think it does.
This is different he has fully stated i will never wear the colors again and carlton have already said if he wants to go they wont stop him

What are the Cats giving you for Henderson?

You might be onto something there, never thought of that. Totally forgot about Henderson to be honest. That will depend on what the crows do with Dangerfield I'd say. If they match, Geelong will need their first round pick. However if you say Yarran is not worth a first rounder, I can't imagine Henderson should be.

He was pick 12, has done nothing to diminish that value in his 2 years, so that'd be about what I'd want for him.

If the idea of a Yarran for Lennon swap was on, I'd be wanting a sweetener going to Richmond.
