Carlton fans don't factor in his attitude problems, we do.
Strictly on talent terms he is top level. If Richmond are not planning to get that out of him, then they shouldn't waste the time considering it.
Considering the Yarran has sold his house and investment property in Melbourne, he could be thinking of joining Eddie Betts in Adelaide. They are great mates and Yarran hasn't been the same since he left.
He could also be looking to go back to Perth. After all, there are distinct family issues there that he needs to be present to address.
The Yarran Saga has many more chapters to be written yet. I wouldn't be trying to drive down the price yet.
A scenario that hasn't had a lot of air time as yet is a very simple one: Carlton don't like any of the deals proposed. They decide to keep Yarran, as he is contracted.
You never know, a new coach and a new regime might be what he needs?
Nobody else would like that scenario, but the benefit for Carlton is to get reasonable compensation at the end of 2016 if it doesn't work out. From Yarran's point of view, he gets to go simply to the team that is willing to deliver what he wants.
I don't think it is particularly likely, nor that desirable. But it could happen.
