Something like this? I'm forever embarrassed at this fellow islanders unacceptable behaviour. Has Braddles spin down well but.

That stupid animation had me sitting there in a trance for almost a minute!

Fortunately, I regained control of my cerebral functions before my brain turned to mush. :thumbsu:

Just try to catch him when he's standing still. :thumbsu:

Cheers for that any more info would help. Still undecided who I would like better their all good right now- what the future holds for them who knows.

He's 21, very short (170-175cm - I think WAFLonline has him listed at 174cm) and stocky build, won the Sandover medal and was the 2nd leading goal kicker (75 goals) in the WAFL to Brad Smith. Skills are about AFL average and can provide good defensive pressure. He doesn't have that many tricks apart from athleticism - which is excellent as mentioned. Plays more as a lead and mark small forward than a natural crumber, think Phil Matera style play. Can play through the midfield and rotated between FF and midfield for Peel. 4 clubs interested now they said on Ch 10 Perth news, one of them is definitely Freo, not sure if Carlton are.

That sounds very impressive. What do you reckon our chances areof him falling to pick 40 or further?

Very good chance IMO. I think he'll go 50+, most likely to Freo, but I think they'll be better players available at Carlton's pick 40. Small chance to last to the PSD/Rookie draft.

Didn't he pass on the SS to go on a holiday? No matter the situation, not great commitment if you ask me......

His manager (Colin Young) wrongly informed him that he didn't need to attend the SS. I'd never doubt his commitment to footy.

I think taking an indegenous talent with our top pick is risky especially if there is already question marks over his attitude. Look at the list of indegenous high draft picks, besides buddy. tambling, wells, varcoe. lets get ziebell. GO BLUES!

# 16 Hawthorn – Chris Yarran (Swan Districts / 180 / 84)

Was again going to go with Lisle here but when I asked Hawk fans about their needs I kept on getting back – “best available”.

Yarran is the best left at this point. Been watching him for a while now and is just a beautiful reader of the game. Seems so effortless and gets into position easily (I think of Darren Jarman when I see him). Gets a ton of the ball and typically uses it well. Plays fwd but can play either end or potentially wing would be a great spot for him if he could get fit enough to do it. Can win his own ball but his real class is his time and use of the ball on his left side. Another to have seen a heap of senior footy and will potentially walk into the Hawk side in 09……..he is that good!.
# 34 Hawthorn – Dan Hanneberry (Oakleigh / 182 / 75)

Another midfield type and one who has come into contention for a 2nd round selection as the year has gone on. Whenever I see this kid I think – poise. Just a clever footballer who moves well on the park, has reasonable speed and very good skills. But it really is his decision making that sets him apart. Will be a great add to the hawks midfield.
And the draft will make the AFL an even competition when the Premier team can add a Yarran and Hanneberry to their squad?

That's ****ed up.

blblues is my brother lol, i was just having a joke with him, but i didn't realise big loser blues was a crack at the club, so i apologise!! returning to the thread I think taking an indegenous talent with our top pick is risky especially if there is already question marks over his attitude. No offence but I reckon your second effort could use a fine-tune as well.

As you would already know TG, the draft is pretty even up to about 40ish. We'll get two very useful players at #6 and #40.

My bugbear is that the Hawks will draft another gun and another depth player to add to the likes of Morton, Thorp, Stokes, Dowler, Boyle, Tuck, Kennedy, McGlynn, Whitecross and Taylor who didn't play in the GF.

The draft doesn't make any side better overnight unless you trade for more early picks like Hawthorn or bring in a Judd like we did to add to your first and second rounds picks.

Draft picks are fools gold unless you have the money to buy the best development coaches out there.

And what exactly do you want to do about it?

Exclude the premiers from the draft or something?

Why should clubs be penalised for good (albeit a tad immoral) team management like Hawthorn?

Pointless post.

i just want someone who can play 200+ games thats all i need and i would be rapt... if our recruiters think he cant make that mark due to his personality or whatever, then i dont want him lets get a sure bet...
