No matter who loses tomorrow the BF servers are going to implode
When you go in black & yellow, in a final, you know it's either sheer jubilation or absolute meltdown.

They think this is the time, we've grown up, things are different. They're usually wrong & it makes for quite the scene. An enjoyable scene at that.

Tomorrow will be different IMO, they'll get a win. Beat Sydney the week after, too.

The high for them will be near intolerable for us. The other though, oh my, that would be something...

Even carlton dont want him
No, Carlton don't want you. There's the door. Don't let it hit you. Take your muppet mates with ya. I'm going to lay a quick 500 on Norf to pants you lot. Then I'm going to ring Bartlett in the morning. 7th is better than 9th. You're becoming better all the time.

We have the bargaining power. He'll play more twos before we send him out for anything less than a first. Just you wait and see.

Wouldn't trade Yarran for anything less than first round pick.

Word on the street is draft is shallow so a 2nd round pick this year would be worthless.

Better of keeping Yaz and seeing if Bolton can get more out of him.
Richmond supporters are dreaming if they think they will get Yarran for a second round pick. Their pick will be around #35. Like I keep telling them. There are 2 clubs in Adelaide that are keen on him.

They can dream all they want, but it's just not going to happen. My bet is that he will be off to Port

So with all this talk of Yarran leaving, what's the likelihood of keeping him at the club? When rated on what we know he is capable of he is worth so much more than anything other clubs will offer us.

He's in that mid twenties age bracket where we really lack quality players. We've got some good players between 28-30, a lot of potential between 18-21 and little in between. I'd hate to see us go down the Melbourne path and flounder with a bunch of kids that have no experience around them.

We've already lost Henderson from that age profile, possibly Kreuzer too. These are guys who should be around when challenging for our next flag. Watching the two games yesterday it really stood out how many of the younger dogs and swans players fumbled and couldn't settle in a finals pressure game, it was a lot of their more experienced players who got them back into it.

Is that a fact is it, how do you know that? As of last week he wanted to go to one of the Adelaide teams. I have heard this from an impeccable source whose initials are EB.
Erica Betts?

The problem is he is not contributing to the level he should. He looks disinterested ands his body language was very poor on more than one occasion. I don't blame him necessarily as there has been a lack of strong culture at Carlton for some time now as the 'player driven' exodus of good players indicates: Betts, Garlett, Laidler, Waite, etc. Fixing the culture will be a primary issue for BB.

Absolutely agree with that. After our team cohesiveness was looking so positive in the second half of last season something has gone horribly wrong this year.

I feel as if Yarran is the player we need to be get back on track, he's a good guy who has obviously had his off field issues this year and for a long time. The easy thing for Carlton to do is to trade him, if we really think we're on the right track we back ourselves to turn things around and take the hard road. There is so much for us as a club to gain by holding on to Yaz, finding the root of our issues and addressing them, I see very little gain in letting him go.
