Is it really that easy to get his head straight? The club has sports psychologists - why haven't they turned him around? I think once players have switched off from wanting to be part of a club it's usually best to let them go. The real problem for Carlton is that we have a poor culture (at present) and so many very good to gun players have left/want to leave: Waite, Betts, Garlett, Yarran, Henderson, Robinson, Jacobs etc.
Robinson was part of the culture problem. He didn't leave, we let him go.
Betts left for money and because he was a Crows fan growing up and had SA connections.
Garlett was part of the culture problem.
Waite and Henderson were inconsistent, injured regularly and contributed to performance through lack of intensity.
If Cripps, Docherty, Tuohy want out, we have a problem.
