Stay more positive about your fellow Aussies Mal - go on your own experiences. When it comes to the media reporting of these events it reminds me of the 'Brain in a Vat' philosophical argument - how do we know if we're just being fed a load of shit :confused:

My opinion of people is not twisted at all, and the fact that what I say is right is a sad reflection of the society in which we live.

My opinion that people are racist is a fact. Don't even think about putting that on the same level as racism because quite clearly it is not and it is an insult to me.

To most, including myself, race does not matter. But you must be taking some pretty heavy shit if you cannot even acknowledge that a major reason for many people bagging Yarran and doubting that he can succeed is because he is an "ABORIGINAL small forward".

I am glad that you are starting to qualify things a bit Jeremias - well at least I think you are for although you said that people are racist in this post you said - to most people race does not matter. Unlike your earlier post which seemed to lump Australians and Carlton supporters in the pathetic basket. :rolleyes:

I will most definitely NOT acknowledge that a MAJOR reason people are doubting Yarran (there has not been much bagging) is that he is ABORIGINAL. I am not sure whether he is going to make it and it has no more to do with his background than my doubts as to whether JR was going to make it, had to do with his.

The fact that you say I must be taking drugs to not agree that all doubters of Yarran are racist is frankly an embarrassment to your debating skills :thumbsdown:

Yarran looked like he was about to turn it on after a good first quarter and a great run down tackles on Mcleod and Johncock.

And the rest of his tackles. :thumbsu:

A shame the game turned out like it did after the first break and we couldn't get enough quality ball inside fifty.

Yarran's left foot is dynamite.

Eleven disposals, seven contested possessions, two inside fifties, four FF, four tackles and 71% DE.

I can't wait to see how Yarran plays with a full pre-season.
 
Just posting to see if this thread is functioning properly. Board lists TG as the last post but it is not there - MC is last post :confused: I am wondering whether doing an edit could be the reason. Anyway this should now see Five as last poster.

On Yarran - it will be hot competition for spots this week as I only see them selecting two of the three musketeers

edit - well there you go TG was last poster on pg 10 but board did not give pg 10 as an option even when you clicked on last post. Hopefully we have corrected it now
