"I felt sick", she said at the time. Two fellow prisoners at Albany Regional Prison, including the father of AFL player Chris Yarran, were last month acquitted of assaulting Bell by hitting him with a hammer while he awaited trial over the baby's death.

Jesus ****ing christ...I can't even process that. It's an outcome.

Gene pool can do without that.

Yaz would be a risky pick up by any club, based on the last 12 months form, and due to the fact he is still contracted, I actually think it is more than likely he stays at Carlton.

I can't see anyone putting up a first rounder tbh, and I doubt Carlton would take anything less, so all this talk could amount to nothing in my eyes...

Richmond giving up a mid teens pick for a proven player is an easy decision, and from what I have heard, is the agreed price. Their window is 'open' and they need to put the hammer down. Another kid, especially a mid teen pick, isnt going to help them.

Had a nice chuckle at the shitmond fans that come on here offering us shit for a contracted player, sorry but we don't give sympathy trades but thanks for taking Hampson.

The best place to go, for Yarrans benefit, would be Adelaide.

They have a great support network for indigenous players. Eddie Betts is there, and Andrew McLeod is great for indigenous players joining the club. The Crows would be the perfect spot for both Yarran and even Bennell to turn there careers around.

Maybe also a club like Port meaning you have the likes of Neade,Paddy Ryder,Impey,Wingard there just saying it does always help a bit when indigenous players have others with them at their clubs no doubt& he'd sort of be a bit out of the spotlight in away that he has in Melbourne:).

Rumour has it that Maxwell's Silver Hammer came down on his head.

He'd be out of the spotlight from Victorian perspective, but the AFL scrutiny in Adelaide is whole other beast in of itself! Just doesn't get reported on in Melb.

problem is, he wants to go to richmond

problem is, he's contracted until 2016 so he can't just walk.

not to say a deal won't get done, but it won't b daylight robbery just because a player wants out halfway through a contract.

reckon the club - any club - would sooner have a talented player run around in the reserves than be reamed.

NO body is going to get reamed, and it wont be daylight robbery but the deal will get done.

Hawthorn would also be a good fit. But I would hate to see them get better so hope he stays at Carlton.

If we do keep Yarran is there any chance we could actually play him in a proper position like on the Wing.

He is not a backman!!!! Another thing Mick got terrible wrong!!!!!
Wasn't it Ratts who put him there WAAAYYY back in the day Neon Leon from the Flogpies was doing the same run off the backline?

However I do agree with you IAC, give him an occasional burst on the wing.
