Had a really awesome brekky with some family friends after the traditional Christmas Eve party at our place with all of our family friends. Always a very very big night, and last night was no exception!

Then just had lunch with the grandparents, and now kicking back on BF after finishing all the dishes...

Having a couple of mates over for beers for the Boxing Day Test tomorrow, so cannot wait for that!

My partner and I decided that this year we didn't want to do the whole self-indulged thing for Christmas this year so we went to our local anglican church which puts on a dinner for homeless and people with nowhere to go. We helped cook and serve the dinner. Was really enjoyable and a few people thanked us with tears in their eyes. Made us feel really good and also grateful for what we have.

First hot xmas lunch in a while due to the cooler than normal weather today, a short visit to one of my nannas and that's about it. Felt sorry for my nanna as she was home alone all day til I arrived.

Tommorrow to be spent with the other nanna and rest of immediate family followed by going to the BBL match.

French Christmas. Stacks of food and champagne. Cold. That's two Christmases in a row without my family and a regulatory mid afternoon swim in the surf to sober up.

Great food and people, but the lack of beer is a concern, although it is 5 degrees
