Because neither party could really be considered 'nice' in their language and behavior, and know that bringing attention to it is a lose/lose whoever does it.

Pyne is just going full loon. Not taking the post budget response very well, likewise the protest on TV. I think he has just decided it doesn't matter anymore and is losing his shit with abandon.
