I've done a reverse image search. This is the highest resolution and is 316 x 421 which is pretty much Super-VHS resolution. I expect it's a still from a video camera in a press helicopter.

Here is the clearest copy I have.

That's an awful lot better than what I could dig up. And yes, that is a left arm on blue-shirt and whiteshirt now appears to be a woman.

Still not sure if it's a higher resolution image, or someone has done some remarkably good work enhancing the video footage.

I think the two white dots may be his hands/gloves. The biege mark on his shoulder is likely part of a video camera support assembly. Remember back then video cameras were large shoulder-borne devices. The biege assembly on his back is also likely part of the camera system.

Nope. It's clearly his arm and the skin colour of his arm matches the colour of his face - and he's wearing a yellowish glove on his left hand. It looks as if the video camera or camera is tucked under his right arm. There's no assembly showing on his back so we'll have to agree to disagree on this.

To me, its not a glove on his left hand, but a patch of light, that is coming through the trees, you can see this in other spots in the pic. His left hand appears to be lifting up his glasses as he looks up to the sky, probably looking at the helicopter. It looks like every one has stopped, with their hands on their hips, annoyed that the helicopter is going over and possibly disturbing the crime scene. He 'probably' is holding some sort of camera.
I can see a black area, possibly the body, but really can't make anything out.
What i find more worrying about this pic is that most are dressed in dark blue!!

Its amazing how we all see something different, glad we are not witnesses for some one because they would be in trouble

I get the feeling that Ciara’s body is in this area. The reason being that the large camera appears to be pointing in this area & the area is much drier than the rest of the photo. If the photo is prior to all the foliage being removed from the body, then this foliage would be dry as it was removed from trees, shrubs etc to cover the body, obviously drying it out.

Yes, there is a lot of blue in that photo & I am hoping & presuming that it has already been tested & ruled out as being the same as the Telstra blue by the prosecution if raised by the defence.

Zooming in close I can see Ciara's body in front of the woman who has her hands on her hips - to the right of the yellow circle.

I can see Ciara's body in the pic when I zoom in close, her right arm, head, hair and white tee shirt, black skirt pulled up - she's in front of the woman with her hands on her hips.

Her right arm was under her body. Her left arm was up.

The photo may have been doctored to make her look smaller but she is definitely visible. This is a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy so not the greatest quality.

All I can see with that high definition photo, is all the people standing around the body, possibly contaminating some evidence and destroying other evidence.
There is no possible excuse for having so many people being so close - it wasn't a forensic training exercise.
Who on earth were all those people and why did they all have to be there doing nothing at the same time.
No wonder so many things have got stuffed up.

I found an archived interesting article from The West Australian in an interview with Supt Caporn by Tony Barrass dated 1 June 2001 saying-

It would help us to know where these murders took place. We know that the young women were not killed where they were found, so the actual murder scene could provide extensive forensics for us. There are items that were missing from the girls, jewellery and clothing, so if they were to turn up, that would help dramatically. A confession would be nice. Look, we have two of the disposal sites. We have an absolute on the pick-up site for Ciara. We don't have the exact pick-up sites for Jane and Sarah and we don't have the murder sites for all of them. If we could somehow find those murder sites, obviously it would go a long way to helping us solve the case.

That was one of the articles that had most of us believing there was a second crime scene/location after the abductions and before the final stop.

I didn't get any of what Caporn said.
Did he know where CG got picked up - no.
He should have known JR was calling out for help and murdered shortly afterwards, which should take someone with half a brain to the crime scene.
What was he expecting from the crime scene - a business card of the culprit.
It would have helped the case enormously if Macro and Caporn never entered into it, that would be a godsend.

No wonder Debbie Marshall targeted Dave Caporn in her book! He was absolutely useless.
