The NSW boys club is in full swing at the moment
Steve Waugh thinks Haddin shoud make it as a batsman....
Spare me Steve, honestly
I know that we're not exactly brimming with in form batsmen at the moment, but that is just silly.
Clarke, Watson, Ponting, Hussey and Warner are (in order) the clear top 5.
Wade, Cowan and Bailey are three blokes in and around the test set up who are the next level of batsman.
Then you've got Quiney, Davis, Khawaja, S.Marsh, Hughes, Cosgrove and Smith at state level who I believe all have more to offer playing as a batsman than Haddin.
I don't hate Haddin, but clearly, his time at test level is up. He is a beautiful striker of the ball on his day and has the potential to make centuries batting at 7, yet in his recent matches has shown that that is happening far less often as he gets older and given our collapse troubles of late he simply wasn't up to the task of playing a responsible innings when we needed it.
