On the main board there are "whispers" that Xavier Clarke is not happy at St. Kilda. Personally I really rate the kid and believe that win the right team and with right coach he could become a super star. Would you be interested in trading for him and what would you offer??????

Saints need a ruckman, Marsh could be part of the deal.:p

Xavier Clarke is only a flanker type or at best a midfielder. That sort of player is not a priority for us.

He was taken at #5 in the draft and would cost plenty to get trade-wise.

Should we be giving up a lot for a player we don't need? No way.

Marsh ??? hmmm might have to think about that one,;)

To be serious i have seen young Clarke play some top games (rd 2 comes to mind) & i would definitely have a bo-peep at him,

As for Saint Kilda i believe there could be quite a few young guns looking to move on in the next couple of years that is unless there is a drastic change in the coaching box & probably in the presidents chair as well,

He wouldn't come cheap Stiffy and unless he's going to grow a fair bit - say around 12 cms ;) - and become a CHF we don't need him.

Now if you were talking Drew Petrie from the Roos I'd be interested!!

We really need ruckmen and KPP's. Cox, Jamar, Brooks - they're the sort of fella's we should be looking at

Exactly Dave. He would not be worth it unless we get him from the Saints for a steel. I reckon another club would be willing to give up more than the Crows.

Spot on Jerome. Still believe our top priority is another ruckman or 2.

Yeah agree with Stiffy and Jerome No thanks to Darcy,Bulldogs can keep or if not Collingwood will poach him:eek:

Wait another year for Ottens, I love the way he plays and can drop into the forwardline and cause havoc down there:D

Ottens Yes Please;)

Nah even if Darcy hadn't resigned I wouldn't be interested. LOL heard him say when he held his press conference that the main reason he signed again was he "can see a premiership in the near future" bloody hell what dream is he having! The Bulldogs are no where near a premiership side! LOL

IMO, Bullies are in a better position than the Blues to rebuild with a couple of early picks. Put the equivalent kids like Reiwoldt & Kozy in their side for a bit of height & they will be more than competitive.

To me there are a young ruckman and a couple of good KPPs short of a very good team. Next year they will get Grant back and Tim Walsh might get some game time as well. They are a lot better side than they are showing.

I think that with careful trading they could make the 8 next year. As long as they can keep the key players on the park.

Just on the note of our needs for the future, which are obviously a young CHF and a young ruckman on the way up, I had a really good look at Peter Street today.

Please don't let anybody ever suggest chasing this un-coordinated non event. He makes Ben Marsh look like a champion.

If people on this board think Marsh is bad they should really take a good hard look at Peter Street. That bloke is BAD.
