Lol who? 1 season as an assistant coach and we go for him? More chance of Voss leading Port to a Premiership in 2018.
Caracella has been in the system for a while, highly rated, will be a senior coach one day no doubt.
I just doubt it's at the Hawks next year.
a) Why would they sack Clarko?
b) Why would he walk away after 1 down year?

If Clarko walked and took an opportunity at another club, Hawthorn usually like to promote from within. In that case Brett Ratten would be the next favourite to coach the Hawks as he has been the assistant and midfield coach at Hawthorn for five years now since the start of 2013 and knows the list from back to front.

Clarkson is going to have a tough time trying to coach about four clubs next year.
using all four clubs to pick a Super team.

Jacobs palms it down to Cotchin, who bursts through the pack and handballs it pendlebury, who kicks to J Kennedy on the lead.

the only problem is that other people are developing such a strong apprehension to his work ethic.
I just don't know if anyone will want to take him on with such a fragile connection to his own self.

I am only saying that he might not want to go anywhere else after all he has been presented with.

Stick with what you know and then work with what is left.

Fwiw the rumour has been on our board for a couple of months now that its unlikely caracella will be at the tigs next year, although it was more tied to the pies back then

Could be the first coach in history to coach more than one AFL club next season. Wouldn't rule it out.

If Clarkson goes you want someone from outside the club to make the tough decisions, not someone who is mates with all the players.

A respected poster with inside info on our board has revealed Eade sealed his fate on Saturday and won't be the head coach next year. He also said the club already has a current AFL coach ready to replace him at season's end...

To further the theory for anyone who doesn't live here, the local media questioned club officials today over who will be coaching next year and they refused to comment.

Do you have links to both these? Not doubting just keen to read.

Bloke on Suns board, reckons Clarkson has been offered a $2 million a year contract to coach the Suns. Has heard from two sources

Happy Idiot

Melbourne were a basket case the AFL decided they had to fix .
They sent in Jackson to fix up the off field department followed by Roos to fix the on field.
Now with so much already invested in the Gold Coast , the AFL have had to act .
First Evans goes in to fix up the off field department and surely the new coach will follow ala the Melbourne blueprint .
Evans has history with Clarkson and the AFL will want this done right this time .
Clarkson has been at Hawthorn a long time , eventually all good things must come to an end and how long is too long .
With AFL backing , plenty of young talent , a brand new facility and a massive contract , Clarkson may see this as an attractive challenge and a lasting legacy in the development of the game in the North of Australia .

I know AFL contracts are not worth the paper they are written on, but Clarko is contracted until the end of 2019.
As a matter of curiousity, was Ross Lyon out of contract when he did the dirty on the Saints.

He may see this, but he may also see the opportunity for a 5th (and subsequent) premiership at Hawthorn to be his legacy.
