Clarkson, to me, is an innovator constantly trying to get ahead of the curve. I think he's a very, very good man manager as well as being a superb tactician.

I like Clarkson but Worsfold has a symbolic and a revered nature at West Coast that Clarkson does not match at Hawthorn. A bit like Hirdy with Essendon fans. It's not measurable in any quantitative way, but it matters a lot.

A factor in Woosha's favour is that he's built two separate contending team's, with two distinctly different styles of play.

Clarkson hasn't done that, but he hasn't needed to yet. If the Hawks were to implode an Clarkson bought them out of the ashes in 3 years i'd vote for him.

As it is Woosha has doen an amazing job and gets my vote.
