Not sure how the OP is not aware but the Pies already have 2 clash strips.

We are in the perfect situation where our colours allow us to have a dark & light strip without having to alter our jumper.

Majority of clubs would love to be in our position.

Not only is it a clash strip, it's one of the best around.

As I said most clubs would love to be in our position.

I wouldn’t wantt some make shift color from some design company with an alternative version of the clubs logo on it. Magpie Green? WTF?
The current clash version identifies us by what we are renowned for: Black, white , vertical stripes. Keep it.
Perhaps a 125th anniversary version with the large logo on the front, but that is as far as I would go.

West Coast now finally have a worthy one, with the yellow/gold wings coming online this year. Richmond and the Dogs are pretty good too.

I hate all the jumpers with a giant magpie emblem on them. They all look crap.

I think our 2002/2003 Guernsey, but inverted so that the chest is white rather than black (and inverting the stripes so that we have three black stripes trailing the body of the magpie, would look great. Would love someone to mock one up.

Happy enough with the black on white jumper we have at the moment though.

Do you want a clash jumper, an away jumper or a marketing tool because they are all different but all unneccessary.

I 100% think we should have a clash jersey.
I also like the idea of keeping with our traditional black-and-white stripes without anything cartoony or too different. (They work for some clubs - a club with our history is better without it... nothing with a cartoonish magpie on the front).

There are 2 simple solutions:

1. Pin Stripes (either black on white, or white on black) - look at any of the mid-90's NBA jerseys for example. (Im on my phone so cant really post a pic)

2. 3 Thick columns. Basically a black jersey with one thick white stripe down the middle (or vice-versa).

I would like to see the club try either of those options.

OK, so when do we need it?
Away games v North? We have a clash jumper for that. If we wear the white base and they wear the blue base we don't clash and if it reverses for our home games or they wear a preferred second strip then we are fine. Who else do we really clash with?

Man it was really just for ppl to come up with ideas get creative.....personally as i keep saying we are behind the times.....in all honesty its supposed to ne a bit of a fun thread

Geelong and nth mainly i guess so yeah would only need for 2 games....maybe port as well
