Cant wait for the season to start and see The Boys Light Up.Guy McDonough, gifted songwriter (Downhearted, Errol, Oh No Not You Again) who sadly died at just 28.
Apart from that I feel "Indisposed" to contribute to this thread topic, which has "Crawled" on for years . OP is "Reckless" to raise this old chestnut. I like the jerseys as they are and "Things Just Dont Seem To Be Going Right" when people want to change for the sake of change.

Oh no, not you again!
"Reckless" indeed also Melbourne Cup runner up 1977'owned by MrsWalker and Mrs GodbyGuy McDonough, gifted songwriter (Downhearted, Errol, Oh No Not You Again) who sadly died at just 28.

And Aaron Trev Woodcock, Tommy to his mates, was trainer of Phar Lap in American sojourn where Phar Lap won the Auger Cliente (spelling?)Reckless "related" to Phar Lap as both were best mates with Tommy Woodcock! (PharLap as a strapper and Reckless as a trainer)
Yes, it is.
Here it is, doing the job it is supposed to, breaking the clash of jumpers and providing the maximum amount of contrast for the spectator...

And, from the archives, previous models of the same clash guernsey against teams we really should wear it against more often these days (but don't because, so the Internet tells me, McGuire cracks the sads...)

Without being biased or immodest, I would say that it is the best clash strip in the competition, because unlike the monstrosities worn by Geelong or Essendon or Adelaide or West Coast over the years, this one actually ticks all the boxes of breaking clashes, maximising contrast and looking not only traditional but damn good as well.
It's by so far the better look.
Isn't a white magpie just a seagull or a gallah. It's by so far the better look.
Just classic
(My opinion only)
Did you have to chose THAT photo for Essendon?!?
Much betterNeeded one of every model of the guernsey over the past decade, against opponents it needs to be worn against more often. Just happened on that one because it showed the contrast best. Sorry...
But for compensation, here's one of Billy believing he could fly against the Bombers in the NAB Cup a few years back:

And, from the deep archives, here's the current coach in his heyday demonstrating just what a beautifully effective and classically timeless look it really is...

With a white magpie on front!
While I am enjoying this thread, and making half serious contributions, I actually cant tell much difference between the different guernseys being debated. They all look so similar to me, that most of this discussion is going over my head. Is there a joke that I'm missing here?
