He's an absolute grub of a human. For those unaware his dad Jeffrey Browne is one of the most influential people in Australia and sits on the boards of some of Australia's largest companies, he was also formerly the managing director of the Nine Network and has deep ties in the Australian entertainment industry, not to mention his step-mum is one of Australia's richest and most influential people in her own right.

So that explains how a manipulative lying weasel with the personality of a stick who's disliked by pretty much everyone in the industry came to be. Moral of the story, make sure you have a rich and powerful daddy to fast track your career and have his minions force feed you information, and when there's no news to break, just make stuff up and hope for the best.

Saw Sam down at the Sorrento Hotel last summer on a Saturday night. Plenty of AFL players in attendance and it seemed like Sam was there on his own and migrating between groups of players trying to play best friends with all of them but none of them were having a bar of it. If that wasn't cringe worthy enough, one of my friends accidently spilt an insignificant amount of his beer on/near his feet on the dancefloor (standard) and then he actively sought out security to kick my friend out and then cheered and clapped smugly and chanted 'na na na na hey hey hey goodbye' as he was escorted and then looked around as if he was expecting applause and a pat on the back from the people around. Didn't seem like the type of guy who has a lot of mates.

When Goldsack did his ACL in the preseason comp last year the next evening he made this mobile phone video (by the sounds of it from his bathroom) to report the news, just for the sake of being first. Never seen a bloke so happy with himself to report someone elses misfortune.

100%, i'll never forget how smug and pleased with himself he was, and it seemed like he genuinely thought people were going to come up and pat him on the back and buy him a beer or something for his heroics.
