Why are Jackson and Houli avoidng critiscm ?
Houli was deplorable today. Hanging back and waiting for the ball rather than attacking it. He has been a goodpickup for us overall and shouldnt be in named in the cleanout cull, but geez when you are getting belted like that it isn't good to see a new recruit not trying to hit the ball at 100%.

Having gone to the game Carlton V Tigers it would be easy to pot them all. However Nahus is one of the few this season to have gone alright, the problen simply is we continue to draft and play undersize players who just wont make it? Ruck stockes are up the shit, back line to small why does Tuck not get a game. If the club is going to contact members and ask them to attend how can they produce that sort of effort, this has set the club back miles. The positive is atleast they will now cull another 10 undersized players.

Gee, saying who we keep would be easier

We haven't had a midfield injury this year. Had our absolute first choice mids in today (ignoring the tuck thing) and could not have been flogged more embarrassingly

Good thing is my boy is 5 and doesn't yet give a shit. No hurry to force the issue

These guys won't make it, trade or delist at the end of the year:
- Hislop
- Thurstfield
- Nahas
- Edwards
- Farmer
- Conners
- McGuane
- Gourdis
- Miller

Nahas had some nice junk time stats but unless he can build a Harvey/Foley nuggety build, he is simply too small

Bit harsh there on a bloke that has ben out injured since round 2 after being one of our best for the second half of last year and he was probably our most consistent player in our NAB Cup and NAB challenge this year.

That said I don't disagree with 2 many others on your list.

LMAO!!!!
What a moron!!!
Why do us so called Richmond supporters react so savagely when we have a shocker. Lets not forget where we are coming from and what our pre season expectations were.
FFS Get a grip kids!!!

Hope we try and trade Edwards...he is ****ing useless.

Grigg is very one way...I watched him closely today and he will not ****ing chase at all. Lazy ****. Not saying we should trade him but his a lazy ****er.

Hislop, Thursty, Miller, Farmer and McGuane can all go though. Still to many passengers and not enough depth.

Starting to get sick of watching him chase blokes in first gear! Or half ass chase and push the opponent instead of tackle to make it look like he made an effort!! Not good enough and very frustrating to watch!

Forget the "so called" jibe - all posting to this board would love the Tigers to do well, but nobody has forgotten where we have come from - it is impossible while we are still there:

Round 15, 2011: 103 points (v Carlton)
Round 20, 2010: 89 points (v Carlton)
Round 1, 2009: 83 points (v Carlton)
Round 10, 2008: 82 points (v Sydney)
Round 6, 2007: 157 points (v Geelong)
Round 7, 2006: 118 points (v Sydney)

Going by last years numbers heres my delistings this year LADE,browne, gus, webberley, thursfield, nason, hicks, miller and taylor if he doesnt commit. Yes i would luv to add another 10 on this but you hav to b realistic you would only b adding even crappier players if ya did.

I would argue that realistically if you know they are not up to AFL standard then there is no point having them on your list. I would rather give an opportunity to an unproven kid than to keep giving games to our patsies. If the kids show they cannot handle it, delist them and repeat the process until you find enough decent footballers.

Santa - please post the list - I'd love to see a bit of a discussion on the merits of certain players.

This is the start of a multi-post lament that deals with many issues I have with the football club.

Here's number 1:

Big bodies:

Apparently we acquired all the big bodies our side required over the off-season. Whilst Houli has been hard working off the half back flank, I don't think I'll ever understand the hype Grigg attracted in the first half of the season.

He's incredibly one sided, and doesn't have the pace to break out of a contest or a tackle and release his venomous left foot. A little bit of Jacksonitis, just doesn't quite have the speed to take a couple of steps and get out of traffic. The ball then gets affected or he gets caught with the ball more than it should occur.

It's good to have a big body, but Grigg really needs to work on learning how to position himself in the right positions, both in the air and at stoppages, so he can get hands on the ball early, lay blocks or tackle the opposition. The defensive side of his game is almost non-existent, and it's tied in with a lack of work rate and an ability to position himself adequately.

Also - what's the point of playing a ruckman who won't put his body on the line for the team? With both Graham and Browne there's so many situations where a mark should be taken or a ball killed, yet the opposition ruckman or someone significantly shorter than them comes away with uncontested possessions.

Work them ragged over the off-season, and teach them where to be in contests. I don't have much confidence either will make it at AFL level, but coach them where to position themselves and work on their fitness level before making that call.

I understand the need to recruit big bodies who will have a future at the club and understand that Tuck won't play because of his age - but we were towelled up by a harder, tougher side yesterday. Robinson isn't overly skillful, but he won't take a backwards step on that field.

I understand the hype over selecting skilful big bodied players who won't hurt us with their disposal, but we need more Jackson-esque players in that midfield. Guys who don't stop running, who'll block for their team-mates, keep their opponent honest and won't make anything easy for the opponent, ever.

Interested as to why you've put Matt Dea in the delist catergory Bazz.

What are your reasons for wanting him out at the end of the year?

Put up for trade and if no takers keep for one more year then delist-
McGuane, White, Morton, Webberly and Post.

Delist -
Nason, Taylor, Hislop, Thurstfield, Brown, Gourdis, Dea and Dericxk.

Farmer just stays of the delist list by a whisker.

Possibly the dumbest thing I have read on BF...

Take that approach and we would hav to take 2 steps back to go forward again dont think the club wants that.

FFS shit has hit the fan, hasn't it?

Try looking over a slightly bigger picture.

Guys like Browne, Post simply aren't ready, and they will be given the development time they need before a call is made, if Hardwick's got any patience.
Sure, there are probably 5 who are certain gones, and another 5 or so who could go either way, but Post, White, Nahas etc would be ridiculous calls. IMHO.

Thought Grigg was on a 3 year deal???

Good to hear a bit of reason... All through the NBA play-offs, the Dallas Mavericks said the same thing, don't get too high with the highs, don't get too low with the lows...

We copped a hiding, we are a young team, I guarantee I will see another 100 point flogging before I see a flag... Look to next week, bombers on a sat. night at the G. This talk of needing to delist 10 players is a massive over-reaction
