According to the Maggies Board he left the track after 10 mins and wasn't looking terribly happy either. That make 3 (Clement, Fraser & Burns) with some sort of clouds over them injury wise. Will be interesting to see if Malthouse plays all 3 after witnessing West Coast shoot themselves in the foot with Hansen last week.

Prefer him to play, hes a liability for the Pies.
Certainly displayed some interesting kicking out techniques. His disposal was pretty shyte. Mind you, if he goes out then Presti comes in. Presti & Wakes in the same backline would destroy their rebounding ability.

Clement is by far the most overrated defender in the AFL.

He turned the ball over countless times last weekened.
i doubt anyone would disagree that he had a shocking game last week

twice in 3 weeks he towelled up Nick Davis...something that the cats couldn't do a few years ago IIRC

and Clement was injured back in round 15...with Wakelin going to Ottens, Clement would be set to do a job on Cam Mooney

I'd seriously love that. Clement on Mooney..... Pop the ball up to Moons and let him kick 4-5.

Oh, and those suggesting clement is a liability....please! He is a very good footballer.

Hahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaha!

You have lost it!

He is a liability ala Scarlett.

Now who's hoping for injuries to the opposition?...

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
You are a douchebag. Scarlett is 100% and in top form. Clement looked questionable health wise against West Coast and is not in top form. THATS why he is a liability. When top of his game not many are better then Clement, but he IS NOT at his peak at the moment.

Against West Coast, he had 20 kicks, 6 handballs and he took 11 marks. He turned the ball over more than he usually does, but I wouldn't expect that to happen two weeks in a row. He was much better in the last quarter and in extra time, and he certainly didn't look too "questionable health wise" then.

Being a past AA backman, he's obviously got some class about him. For Collingwood to be missing him in such an important game will definitely affect them. Without Fraser, Burns AND Clement, they will have no chance. We will destroy them.

This game is going to be very, very one sided.

Clement's a fantastic player, and personally I think it's more rustiness than anything else, as he missed a lot of footy. But I tend to think he's too small for Mooney. A lot of people still underestimate how strong Mooney is - North tried a similar size player in Firrito in round 20 and Mooney killed him. Just too big.

Also, Ottens won't be in the forward line, he'll be in the ruck. Wakelin would be on Mooney, O'Brien on Nathan Ablett, and for me Clement on Steve Johnson. May not match him on the ground but can in the air, marking isn't Johnson's strong suit.

Clement will play in any case.

They'll all play anyway.
Which could be good actually, because I don't think Wakelin is quick enough to stay with Mooney on the lead. I don't think they have a good match up for Mooney actually.
And SJ could prove difficult for them as well.

Tough game though!

The point Pussies_07 was trying to make was that Clement is a liability even if fit.
When fit he is as important to the Pies as Scarlett is to your boys.

Thats a good thing. Hopefully the injury themselves in the first 5 mins, are 2 men down for most of the game and after the extra time and long road trip to Subi, they might struggle to stick with us.
You forgot about the benefits of their private jet.. their PRIVATE JET!!! If they should beat us on Friday night.. all hail the jet. :D:rolleyes:
